Groundhog Insulation installed insulation above my garage. I reached out to several companies, but Groundhog stood out because of their customer service, knowledge, and value. The estimate appointment was scheduled quickly and was extremely helpful. There was no pressure or up-selling. The quote was fantastic and I immediately scheduled the install. The team installed the insulation quickly and neatly. I 100% recommend Groundhog for any insulation needs!

Groundhog came out and gave me an estimate within 48 hours of calling. During the evaluation, his team explained everything that would happen and was even able to work with me on pricing. After several estimates, they were still the friendliest team around. They were quick and efficient

Every company wants a 5-star review but very few actually provide a service worthy of such a rating. Groundhog Insulation Pros is this type of company.Deciding to insulate an attic is a huge financial decision; not one to be taken lightly. Before making my final decision, I contacted eight different companies and provided the same information to each of them: 1,850 square feet of attic, existing cellulose insulation that has compressed over time and a start date between September 1st and October 30th.The eight companies were selected based on their proximity to our home and any existing online reviews and ratings. Of the eight, four of them did not bother to return my phone call (even though I used their own webform to submit my inquiry), three of them gave me a verbal quote over the phone and just one of them took the time to do an on-site visit to evaluate the size and scope of the project.I am of the old school that believes "You only get one chance to make a good, first impression." The other seven companies fell far short of any good first impression.Groundhog Insulation Pros was the ONLY company to offer me:* A substantial Duke Energy discount* Expanded foam sealing of all open gaps* Solid foamboard installation for larger gaps that the foam could not fill* Solid foamboard added to the 1/4" plywood attic "hatch" to reduce heat loss* A reduced rate to increase the standard R38 installation to R49. The main cost is getting the workers and equipment on-site.* A special "Happy 250th" America's birthday discount* A senior citizen's discount* And an "early-bird discount" for making a decision within 48 hours of the salesman's on-site visit. The other three companies simply asked on the telephone call "What is the square footage?" and then multiplied that number by a dollar amount to get a final job estimate.Hayden, JD and Steve, the three Groundhog Insulation Pros technicians, arrived on-site at exactly the arranged time. They set up the equipment using hoses, compressor, gas-powered generator and bales of pink fiberglass insulation and got straight to work. They started by finding and filling all gaps (large and small) with solid foam-board and expanding foam. Once all sources of heat loss were plugged, they then turned their attention to the actual fiberglass installation. They installed printed depth-rulers at various locations around the attic to ensure that the customer received exactly what they had paid for. They started at the far end of the house, using just a small headlamp to light their way, and slowly worked back towards the attic entrance. The three men arrived at 8:30 AM, plugged all holes, installed the insulation, finished cleaning the area and were off-site by 3:00 PM having worked through lunch. We all know that adding insulation to an attic is a "one-and-done" task that continues to pay benefits far into the future. If you are considering having this work done, I strongly recommend Groundhog Insulation Pros for your insulation needs. They are professional, competitive, courteous and punctual. They will provide you with increased value to your home and warm comfort during the coming cold days of winter.

From the very first contact, this company impressed me with how professional and informative they were. During the estimate process, they took the time to explain the insulation options clearly and answered every question I had. What really stood out was the detailed, itemized quote — no vague pricing or guesswork, just a clear breakdown of materials and labor so I knew exactly what I was paying for. It made the decision to move forward with them an easy one.

We needed insulation in our attic due to not having enough, which was causing our upstairs unit to work harder. Groundhog is the first quote we got, and the company we decided to go with. Pricing is fair, the team does a great job, and everyone is very friendly.
