This place reminds me of a little mom and pop shop you walk in and it’s nothing special most of the time to me that’s a good thing meaning they focus on the food. The Owner is great always friendly. The menu is small and he’s always changing specials I went in today for my favorite “off menu” empanada “the Burt” (if you know you know) and I seen they had a special, Jerk fried chicken so I had to try it and I was happy I did. Jerk marinated tenders fried to perfection nice and juicy on the inside came with rice and beans which had lots of flavor as well. 1000% recommend.

So happy to have found this spot! With so many different Latin restaurants, this is THE best Puerto Rican spot. It tasted like the food on the island, and that is so hard to find here. Ordered the rice with stewed chicken. FIRE. It was seasoned so well, my home smelled like I cooked and it was just my leftovers. The steak and cheese empanada. DELICIOUS. The dough had the perfect crunch and it was completely filled with meat; not one bit of air. To satisfy the sweet tooth, ordered the guava with cheese empanadas. PERFECT. The perfect portion of each so one ingredient didn’t overpower the other. To say the food was delicious is an understatement! Looking forward to going back and trying the Mac & Cheese with jerk chicken!!!

So glad my family pulled up to this hidden gem. My husband and daughter decided to stop in and grab something for lunch while running errands. They texted me that the place was fantastic so I needed to go as well. After my appt, I ran over there and it did not disappoint. I got a loaded arepa and steak and cheese empanada. My family also got the rice and fried chicken. The food was great and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. I got to hear a bit of his story. Support these mom and pop places and listen to their stories! We will definitely be back!

Looking for something other than pizza and came across this place! AMAZING! The Mac & Cheese was the best I have ever had! Chicken and rice plate the steak and cheese sandwich was delicious! We will be back for sure once we are back in town for my daughter’s dance comp!

First timer:The Pull up empanada was excellent.Although I truly appreciate made to order; during lunch I don't have a 30 minute wait time to get food before I even eat..and if there is a line the wait time is extended.I recommend that you get the appropriate resources to staff the restaurant.The seating is limited as well.Again the food was deliciousAnd I'll be back.
