I honestly don’t know if there are enough words to adequately express how grateful I am to Amy for the beautiful tattoo she helped me design. My Dad passed away suddenly on July 15, 2025, and I wanted a tattoo that would tell our story and honour him in a way that was deeply personal to me. He was a watchmaker, so the design centres around two antique-style watch hands set to 5:34, the last time I ever spoke to him. If you look closely, there is a lowercase “dad” hidden in the minute hand and an infinity symbol in the hour hand. And 20,613 is the number of days from the day I was born to the day my Dad passed away.I came to Amy with a drawing my daughter had helped me design and a very clear idea of what I needed it to be. Amy listened, offered suggestions without ever taking the design away from my vision, and had an incredible amount of patience and persistence as we worked through every little detail. More than anything, I appreciated how much she genuinely cared about getting this right for me. She understood the emotion behind it and treated something so important to me with such kindness and care. The finished tattoo is exactly what I had envisioned. It is delicate and beautiful, and most people probably won’t notice all the little details unless I point them out, which is exactly what I wanted. I didn’t want an “in your face” memorial. There will never be enough thank yous to adequately convey how much I appreciate Amy’s patience, talent and care, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for their next tattoo. She helped me turn an idea that meant so much into a beautiful tribute to my Dad that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Every time I look at it, I will be reminded of the wonderful man my father was. ❤️🩹
