I initially booked a wide range of blood tests to check for a plethora of different markers including cholesterol, liver function etc and I'm glad I did because without a doubt it saved my life. As a musician I live in a world of late nights and heavy drinking which I have lived for 20 years or more... Walking into Being Well Pharmacy was like a harbour after a storm. After Bal (who clearly has a deep interested passionate approach to his work) performed a very professional phlebotomy, they sent it away for tests and it came back with my liver under stress with a very high GGT level. But they don't just see a patient at Being Well, they see a person. I followed their advice for 6 weeks like a beacon in the fog, my second blood test results came back and my liver function had returned to almost normal. I'm committed to either cutting alcohol right back or giving up completely now. If I had not picked up the phone and organised a test in a stitch in time saves nine manner then I think I would have fallen off the mortal coil within 5-10 years. I was recommended to visit this place by a friend and wow the selection was astounding! The staff were incredibly welcoming and so helpful. This is the best pharmacy customer experience I have had. I've had several visits to the pharmacy for different things and Julia and Bal are always so warm and welcoming and very helpful. However this weekend Julia went above and beyond for my v poorly daughter and saved us a lot of stress avoiding accessing treatment via NHS walk in centre ( and the long waits). What a brilliant pharmacy! Extremely professional, friendly and beautifully designed. My family and l needed some last minute vaccines due to issues at my surgery, Julia speedily investigated what we all needed and ordered everything in. She kindly even recruited a pediatric nurse to join our appointment, which was an extra special touch with two young children nervous about injections. Claire was so caring and helpful. I had a lovely experience at this clinic. I have sought injectable medicine for weight loss and have done a tonne of research. I popped into this new shop and had a very very informative consultation. They looked at my physical stats on an advanced scale, and explained the process well, while treating me with respect and empathy. All three staff members made me feel so welcome and comfortable. If you have struggled with weight and have felt judged and mocked in the past let me reassure you you will be made to feel so comfortable here. The pharmacist Julia was so lovely and down to earth. We even had a good chat after the treatment. She's very warm. Would also like to note how lovely and kind the 2 other members of staff were, I didn't catch their names so apologies.
