From the start, my experience was great. My oldest son accompanied me to the business in Waveland, IN, where we met Chris. We selected a cabin model that would meet my needs and discussed the pricing of each option available. There were no surprises throughout the process. At the first meeting, we set an approximate date for them to do the foundation for the cabin. When the crew came to prep the location for the foundation, they had all necessary equipment and showed great skill and respect for me and my property. It was a 2-day process where footer was done, blocks laid, access pipes inserted for electric, water & septic, as well as moving piles of dirt away from the building site to a low place near the creek. That was greatly appreciated as we didn’t have the equipment to move the dirt ourselves. Chris kept us informed of when the milled logs arrived at the shop in Waveland & the build began. He communicated with us regularly regarding the layout and our preferences. We set a delivery date that was ultimately delayed a week due to circumstances beyond the control of either of us. No problem. The crew arrived at the alternate date with the cabin on a trailer in our driveway. They maneuvered the equipment & set the cabin on the foundation. They completed the installation of the cabin, roughed in certain parts of plumbing & electric that couldn’t be done beforehand, dug out & installed a window well for the entrance to the crawl space, & finally closed-in the base with treated boards. The crew worked till dark to finish the job that same day. They were hard-working, efficient, knowledgeable, professional, personable, polite and considerate in all aspects of the cabin purchase, construction & installation. Many thanks for my new home.
