I got my first home loan through West Coast Mortgage Group in 2002. Over the years I have used other companies, in other areas, and found there where always surprises at closing that where not disclosed to me through the process. Other companies have snuck in terms inside the fine print, that where not disclosed upfront, leaving me stuck at the closing table with a deal that just isn't quite what was promised. West Coast has always been the most straight forward of any loan company I have ever used. They always deliver on their promises, and do what they say they are going to do.

West Coast Mortgage Group -- particularly Alex Martinez -- was extremely helpful to my husband and I as we were looking to get a loan in order to buy a new home. He took the time to make sure we thoroughly understood everything involved in our loan, helped make sure we got the best rate possible, and provided excellent advice. He demonstrated his knowledge of the process in the way he explained it so that we could both easily understand. Additionally, of all the lenders we considered, Alex was the most reliable and responsive. Throughout the process, we consistently felt like we were his #1 priority. When other lenders would leave us waiting, Alex was quick to get get back to us and always flexible. In fact, Alex even drove all the way from Sacramento to downtown San Francisco (not a fun place to drive or park) during a pretty crazy wind storm to ensure he was at our signing. Throughout the signing, he made sure we were comfortable with each step and well informed of what we were signing.
