Working with Cameron and Chill Out Dog Training has been extremely helpful over the past few months with our 9 month old German Shepherd. We are so grateful that we chose Chill Out for our dog's training. Our dog was a rescue that was pretty scared of a lot of things and highly distractible on walks and in public spaces. We struggled a bit with his impulse control and his fear driving him to do things such as run into the street. He also had started to show early signs of resource guarding.We purchased a 3-pack of sessions and it is well worth the money. Scott was great at explaining things in real time, giving options to explore, homework and resources. After just the first session, he was able to disengage with something he was resource guarding and let us grab it.After all 3 sessions he is a way happier, more fulfilled dog at home. He is able to be out in crowded public spaces and stay collected even when scared. We are so happy that we can continue to explore the world with our little guy in a safe way.

We had an incredible experience with Scott! We reached out when our dog started showing concerning behavior around our baby and we felt like there was no other option but to rehome. Scott gave us a clear, practical plan and helped us feel confident as owners through virtual coaching and training using the e-collar . This training was completely lifechanging for my dog and our quality of life. This review is long-winded because the impact this training had on our lives is tremendous. My dog had a very complicated history before I adopted her - from severe neglect, to physical injuries, and behavior problems that seriously limited her ability to engage with others or what she could do outside of the home. I (with the help of other professionals as well, and the shelter I was initially fostering her through) had an incredibly difficult time training her - she had to be regularly muzzled, and went through countless training approaches, including medications, to no avail. She completed a four-week positive reinforcement only board-and-train prior to Chill Out that did not have a significant impact on her emotional regulation and behavior problems. I was prepared for a lifetime of accommodations for my pup, until an e-collar training was recommended to me. I had a consultation with another company and the trainer didn't really listen to me and seemed mostly focused on my money, before finding Chill Out and connecting with Scott. I truly felt heard and that my individual concerns and dog's needs were being cared for when talking to him. After the consult, I purchased the E-Collar Package with 3 individual training sessions and I could not be more happy with my experience with Cameron. I would never have imagined the confidence I now have in my dog. I have complete trust in her in every situation - she has 10/10 recall and knows & follows all of her commands. She now has the freedom to go off-leash hiking and backpacking, to dog parks (her favorite), and to new environments without concern. And I now have the freedom to host, to have new people over to the house, to bring her on my outings, and to let her interact with new dogs and people without concern. I'm honestly crying as I write this because I am so grateful for the quality of life my dog is able to have now thanks to Cameron and the team at Chill Out. She is absolutely thriving, and I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you <3

Cameron has been a life-saver for my dog James. I adopted him at 8 months old after he was shuffled between 4 different fosters due to being born deaf/blind. Not knowing how to train a puppy with these disabilities was so disheartening and Cameron changed everything for us. Not only is James not resource guarding or being aggressive anymore, he is able to sit, stay, and walk on a leash. He plays nicely with my other dog and is able to respect boundaries. Cameron has given him the gift of living a normal, full life even with his special needs and I couldn't be more grateful.

Me and my dog Benny did 3 sessions of training with Abbi, and the difference is night and day! Benny is much much less reactive, and I have way more control than I did before over his behaviors. Abbi even had a backup e collar for me when mine ran out of battery mid-session. Abbi is super informative, friendly, and knowledgeable! 10/10 would recommend, it takes a lot of stress out of your daily activities when you have a less reactive dog and nothing else seems to be working!

We had an amazing experience working with Scott and Cameron. My husband and I were ready to rehome our one and a half-year-old female Cane Corso and Chill out dog training was our last resort. We purchased a three pack and already have seen so much progress in our little girl. We’re so excited that we now get to keep her as a member of our family and get to grow learning more about each other other.Thira Used to be very aggressive and protective and now she is finally learning when she needs to be a guard dog, and when she can be a dog. We trained with Abbi who was excellent and extremely helpful. She answered all of our questions and was very attentive with our dog. We noticed huge improvements with our dog every session and we have a much more enjoyable time with her now.
