I went on Thumb tack to find someone to repair fencing around my deck. I read several reviews and Don Rieux from Kangarieux framing stood out to me. He had a 5 star rating and I liked what I read about his company. I contacted him and he responded back within a half hour. I sent him a pictute of the work I was requesting. Don came the next day and provided me with his estimate. His price was very reasonable and the job was completed in one day. I am so satisfied with his work and I already have another project in line for him to do. Don is very personable, knowledgeable, friendly, and his work far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I met him I knew he would be the one to get the job done. When the work was completed I not only had a deck that looked new again, but it felt like I acquired a new friend. Truth? I couldn’t have gotten more lucky in hiring Don. Brand name contractors wanted to come in here for the repairs on my shed and charge me $1 million. Finding a semi-retired 40 year journeyman carpenter that has probably forgotten more about framing, leveling, mitering and where studs are and where studs go than most other self-professed “carpenters” know was just a lucky gift to myself, found on Thumbtack. I was actually looking forward to writing this review, because I’m pretty sure this man isn’t an aggressive marketer; he just knows his own craft inside and out. I could say a bunch more with all honesty, but I will just leave it at that so not to sound too grandiose. Thank you, Thumbtack, and thank you, Don Rieux!

Don was easy to work with and fixed several doors in need of repair due to age, shifting/swelling of home. Will definitely call on again.

I was looking for someone to help me with a break in one of my steps in my stairs. Had a crack running across the seam. I contacted Don Rieux of Kangarieux and he was able to give me a decent price for a quick repair. He added some screws to hold it in place until I decide to replace the whole step.

Don was great he responded to my message quickly! I needed someone ASAP and he was available the next day. He came right on time ready to work . He was very professional and he communicated with us every step of the way. I am extremely satisfied with his work that he did for me , and if I need any future work I will definitely reach out to him and also recommend him to other people that might need some work done .

I contacted this company and he responded immediately. He knew that I needed the work done before a certain date and so he prioritize my project. He did a fabulous job as I needed to make an open space into a bedroom. I also wanted to put in a barn door, whichthe room needed to be retrofitted in order to support the frame. I would definitely hire Don and his workers again.
