Outstanding customer service and quality. I've been using wood depot for my firewood needs for the last three years and they have always delivered on every front. I just received an order for a 1/4 cord of the kiln dried Birch and for the first time I was actually shorted on the delivery. I called them up and explained what happened, Steven at wood depot just asked for some pictures and measurements to see what had happened and how much I was short, and that same day I got a response confirming that I was shorted on that delivery but he handled it like a pro. Told me exactly how much more I would receive and had a delivery set up the next business day. I just have to say in a time where costs soar it's the things like customer service that make it worth while. Steven was quick to do what was needed to make things right and even added some extra wood for the inconvenience. It was super quick and he was great to work with. I can't recommend these guys enough because I know that even if a rare issue were to pop up it's going to get handled professionally. If Stevens boss reads this give that man a raise. I've used both the kiln dried and seasoned birch and they are both fantastic. I have used Wood Depot for years after stumbling upon their website. I am so impressed with the quality of the wood and the delivery service which is exceptional. I typically purchase Birch wood in the camper special bags. These bags come full of birch and birch bark which I use to start my campfire. The bags are sturdy and easily stored in my Motorhome's exterior compartment or on my rear mounting storage rack. Over all the price for the Camper Special birch is unbeatable especially when you take in the free delivery if you order 10 or more bundles. The quality of the wood is also exceptional! Got a 1/2 cord of seasoned birch delivered for my indoor fireplace and the online ordering process was silky smooth. I’m not crazy about the plastic mesh used to wrap the wood but if that’s the only complaint they’re doing a great job. Wood comes in a variety of sizes (which I love) and you can’t beat the burn quality of birch. All-in-all excellent service and quality. Less

Picked up my first ever order (1/2 cord pine). Overall good experience, staff were very friendly and loaded our pickup truck in about 30min. Things that could be better would be a little more detail about the pick up process available on the website. When we arrived there was no clear signage or process in place. We were told to back up to a woodpile for stacking but then told there was no one available to load our truck. I felt that loading the truck was outlined as part of the service I had already paid for so I requested a discount if I was to load the vehicle myself. This was denied. Instead I was asked to wait 30min for the staff to complete the order they were working on. I had no problem with that (especially since I only actually had to wait 15min) though I wondered why they hadn’t suggested a specific time for my pick up when I phoned to schedule. Only other thing that I thought was left to be desired was “wood depot” specific signage so that I knew I was at the right place. There was one wood depot sign at the entrance but it is an old sign and easy to miss. There’s also another wood brand’s sign there that’s more obvious that could potentially cause confusion if you haven’t been there before. Other notes was that I had a pretty luxurious feel from the website that was quickly dismantled by the pick up process. Not necessarily a problem, I still felt that I got good value but I suppose if that kind of thing is of particular importance to you I would try the delivery service. Less

I would recommend Wood Depot to anyone looking for dry, clean and seasoned firewood. We bought our first 1/4 cord of birch two years ago in order to utilize our house wood burning fireplace for the cold months of winter. The driver dropped off the wood exactly where I wanted in a nice neat pile, so I can split the wood into smaller pieces and stack it under the deck. We used this pile all winter and had a few left for the summer camping season . I always look for the wood depot bags in Home Depot or Canadian Tire when we need a little more on our camping trips, I’d pay the extra $2-4$ more for quality. Less

Highly recommended…First of all, we asked for our wood to be cut at a certain length. They accommodated this, no problem by cutting the pieces to 15 inches.Then the guys who delivered our wood were amazing! They piled it for me down the side of our house, which is no easy task as they had to go down a set of stairs. They worked very fast and were super friendly! Less

Wood is dry and burns well. Driver was late doing deliveries but called to let me know. When he arrived to drop the wood, he got severely stuck with the pallet jack on my gravel parking pad. After repeated attempts we finally decided to manually unload the wood. He helped stack every piece of wood into my shed. Great customer service! Less
