First time catching smallies makes me feel like catching large mouth will never be the same, our guide Taylor was amazing, very upfront about everything to. My uncle and I did the smallmouth bass river run with him on the holsten river, showed us how smallies like to eat compared to large mouth and how they act. Would 100% recommend him and definitely gonna come back !

Had a blast with River Run Angling! Our guide was friendly, professional and knew the river like the back of his hand. It was the first time I had ever touched a fly fishing rod. But not only did I avoid tangling myself in the line, hooking myself or someone else, or falling out of the boat, we caught 15 trout thanks to our guide's patient and effective instruction. My husband and I fished with Taylor on a full day trip. Taylor picked us up from our lodging and took us to and from the river which was nice to not have to worry about transportation. Taylor was very patient and kind while working with a couple of beginners. We caught a lot of fish throughout the day and his passion for fishing really showed through his knowledge of the river and being able to put us on fish consistently throughout the day! Taylor spent 1 day reel fishing on river with my 79 yr old Father and 17 yr old son. Caught lots of brown trout and some rainbow. They told me Taylor was very friendly and patient, they thoroughly enjoyed their 1/2 day guide. 2nd day Taylor spent entire day with 17yr old teaching him how to fly fish (1st timer) and my son loved learning a new skill while being on the water. Thanks to Taylor for not only the time he spent with my family, but also for his service and all he does to give back to others!

What's better than having a fishing date for valentine's day? Having 2! Taylor came through for us during lowish water a few weeks ago. He took the water levels into consideration to determine where we and the boat would fair best. He also took time to point out some other locations for us to fish on our own after our float trip. He's very knowledgeable about the hatches and giving pointers to improve your casting. We look forward to going back!
