As a dad who has had his child enrolled at A Child’s Academy for years, I can confidently say this place is a gem. From the moment we stepped in, we felt welcomed by the nurturing and experienced staff who truly care about the kids. The afterschool program has been a lifesaver—providing a structured, enriching environment where my child can wind down, learn, and socialize in a safe space. And the summer camp? Absolutely fantastic! The activities are engaging, fun, and thoughtfully planned to ensure the kids not only enjoy themselves but also grow in confidence and skills.A Child’s Academy has been a second home for our family, offering both stability and excitement in our child’s daily routine. If you’re looking for a daycare that prioritizes education, creativity, and care, this is the place. Highly recommend! Less

Finding a daycare in Gainesville that truly understands the needs of working parents has been a game-changer, and A Child’s Academy has exceeded all expectations. As a dad of a two-year-old and a three-year-old, having early hours has made my mornings so much smoother. The teachers here are beyond amazing—caring, patient, and truly invested in my children's growth. I see my kids thrive every day, and I know they are in the best hands. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a nurturing and supportive daycare in Gainesville FL Less

My son has bee going here for 2 years now and I really like this place. The staff is friendly and the buildings are clean . I really like the procare app that I can see what is going on throughout the day and communicate. I would definitely recommend this establishment. Less

(REMEMBER: Take everything I say with a grain of salt because everything I recall was through the eyes of a preschooler, but there is an actual weight to what I say because, well I went here.) So I actually went here as a kid(baby? Toddler?) and I have mixed opinions. For starters I would say that they have good staff, they treated me well and maintained expectations for good manners. There was one day during nap time and I threw up(don't know how it why so I won't blame the food) while playing a game with my hands. The staff swiftly helped me clean up and that was great. My main concern is that (from my experience at least) there was a lot of religion based education that was definitely prioritized over basic things like math and science. I recall they taught us the alphabet with biblical words(not exactly a bad thing but I did think I should mention it) I remember a significant portion of learning time was dedicated to teaching about Christianity. As far as I know there wasn't a program that my parents signed up for to teach me this, they have stated on multiple occasions that they were UNAWARE about what I was being taught until I "came home talking about the Bible and Noah's Arc" so that means my parents were unaware that I was taught the Bible, and a lot of Christian beliefs(which ie generally something you want your parents to know!) so do acknowledge that. I will note that from the videos it seems this preschool has definitely changed for the better. Overall I would generally give this preschool a 2.5-3.5/5 rating, so an average of 3/5. I would definitely say this school's strong points are definitely its environment and staff (at least when I attended) the staff were always kind, but I would watch out to make sure your kid is getting the right education, just to be safe. (THIS IS ALL FROM MY EXPERIENCE WHENEVER I ATTENDED HERE AS A PRESCHOOLER, REMEMBER TAKE EVERYTHING WITH A GRAIN OF SALT!) Thanks! Less

Amazing school!!! My baby started going to the school when he was about 5 months, at first I was nervous about him not being at home, they quickly gained my trust. The staff are amazing especially Miss MaCayla ( my son absolutely adores her). My child is visibly happy and exited to be at school when I drop him off. I can’t think of a better place to send my child. Less

We have had our daughter here for a year and we have had a wonderful experience. Ms. Cindy is amazing! She has fostered such an amazing, supportive learning environment. Our daughter was having a bad experience at a previous daycare and now she is thriving! Ms. Theresa is so engaging, thorough, and so friendly! We feel very secure in trusting the teachers there to look after our kids. Our son goes to their after-school program and that has been great too. Highly recommend ACA! Less
