You know how you find people through word of mouth? Well, thank you dog walkers and neighbours for recommending Handyman! My prayers were answered with this company and with handyman Scott (and owner Vanessa!). I've been waiting literally years to find someone willing to tackle the smaller jobs around my home, and that turns out to be the hard part: plenty of people want the big contracts, but finding someone who'll happily hang shelves and blinds, paint doors, caulk, and powerwash — and also fix the bigger headaches like drainage and fencing — is its own kind of miracle. I don't know where Vanessa found Scott, but he's professional, kind, and genuinely knowledgeable, and I trusted him completely from the start. That trust got put to the test when we hit a glitch with a closet assembly — entirely my fault for ordering the wrong parts — and Scott just took it in stride. Instead of throwing up his hands, he walked me through options and a plan for the future, and we saved the day together. That's the kind of person you want in your home. A few of the jobs turned out to be bigger than expected — the drainage especially had its share of oddities — and they would have been well within their rights to simply charge me for the list as it stood. But the work was top-notch, I trusted everything they were doing, and the last thing I wanted was to take advantage of people who'd earned my respect. So we balanced it out fairly across the whole list and the heavier work, and everyone walked away happy. That's a relationship I intend to keep. Their prices are fair, his timing was accurate and reliable, and his expertise already has me itching to write up my next list. I recommend Scott without hesitation — though fair warning, recommending this company means they'll only get busier. That's the price I happily pay for great work.

Scott from Local Handyman did a fantastic job for us today. He was friendly, efficient, thorough, and the quality of the work was excellent. We had recaulking done in our kitchen and bathrooms along with a vanity repair, and everything looks great.Vanessa, who coordinated everything, was also wonderful to work with. She was incredibly responsive, transparent about any unknowns, and made scheduling easy. Their online portal was also very user friendly and streamlined the whole process.We have a long list of projects to tackle in our home and will absolutely be using Local Handyman again. Highly recommend!
