I've been trying to improve my smile for most of my life, and it's been a long road. I had noticeable spacing in my front teeth and went through multiple treatments over the years from bonding, removing bonding, Invisalign (with some relapse), and even crowns from a root canal. It always felt like I was just patching things instead of truly fixing the problem. Finding Dr. Chris at Livewell Dental in the Washington D.C. Metro Area (DMV) was a turning point for me. He really listened to my concerns and goals, and I never felt rushed or overlooked. The exam was incredibly thorough, and with his team's help, we found out my bite was completely off!! I was only hitting on 3 back teeth. I had no idea, and it made so much sense once he explained everything. After correcting my bite, the difference has been huge. Chewing feels easier, and everything just feels more natural. I wanted my results to look natural, not overdone, and that's exactly what I got. I finally feel confident in my smile and don't think twice about laughing or showing my teeth anymore. I had been to many consultations with so-called "top dentists" in major cities and there's simply no comparison. This place is the real deal if you want quality work. The entire process with Dr. Chris was detail-oriented. He takes a holistic approach, making sure your smile design not only looks natural (in shape and shade) but also supports long-term health. My veneer could not be more perfect. It looks so natural! Beyond cosmetic work, Dr. Chris also corrected issues from poor dental work I had received at another office. I've been going to the Lanzaro practice for nearly 15 years and was happy to see its good work continuing under the new leadership of Dr. Chris Kim. Dr. Kim reviewed my charts, took more Xrays, identified issues with teeth and developed a long term healthcare plant. This is not a "temporary patch up" place, they fix your teeth to serve you in the long-term. I recently needed 2 new crowns on my teeth. Dr. Kim and his hygienist took extra care of me, I felt NO pain at all, in fact, I feel asleep in his chair :). New crowns look AWESOME, as if they were the teeth I was born with. His office staff are super nice, they follow up with you AND they will fight for you with the insurance. I even managed to get some money back which doesn't happen that often. I highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Chris Kim recently took over the dental practice of Dr Peter Lanzaro in Fairfax Station. Same great care as with Dr Lanzaro and same great office atmosphere. Transition has been smooth, and without any problems.
