Well, it had been a long time coming, but the waiting was finally over.After almost two years of back to back garage sales, getting my former home fixed up, cleaned up and ready to sell, it was finally time to take the plunge and find myself a builder for my new home on my 1.6 acre wooded lot in Citrus County.After numerous hours of research, the cutest photo of a little home model appeared on the internet. It was called the “Hideaway” and the builder was James Zanatta of Procraft Builders. It was a smaller package (1344 total sf) but smaller was exactly what I was looking for having previously lived in an 1,860 sf home.James picked up the phone and we talked briefly and that was the beginning of a long, adventurous but ultimately wonderful relationship. He was very much of a hands-on guy and he kept me fully briefed on the myriad of aspects involved with the construction of a new home. Details were the order of the day. As a first-time new home person, I had absolutely no earthly idea of the amount of work and administrative efforts that would be involved. James was deliberate, articulate and very patient and walked me through the entire process from start to completion.Well, I am very pleased and proud to say that MY new little Hideaway in the woods is now finished. It is perfect and has exceeded my expectations. Great!!! We had Procraft build our new house!! We had no idea of what we were getting into and James made us feel comfortable about our build!
