My son joined the summer camp run by Evan Hoyt this past summer (2026), and it was exceptionally well-organized. I was particularly impressed by the coach-to-player ratio. Having one coach attentively monitoring two courts allowed them to offer real-time advice throughout the sessions, and the rotation system ensured players got feedback from different coaches. It might be the only tennis camp in the South Bay and Peninsula area with such an engaged team and great individual attention. Hoyt Tennis also organizes similar high-quality programs year-round during weekday afternoons.

The summer camp is high quality. It is designed for players are who serious about tennis and competition. It is very well organized and supervised by highly experienced coaches and support staff. Spending multiple weeks at the camp is valuable as the coaches get to know the player and can foster development. Coach Hoyt is exceptional at combining drills, technical and tactical development, as well as fitness/endurance. Our kids found it enjoyable and valuable.

Overall, the camp was a great experience for my daughter. The group of players was high-level, and the kids were appropriately grouped by skill level, which made the training challenging and productive. She really enjoyed the new drills and felt they helped improve her game. The coaches genuinely cared about helping the players get better and brought great enthusiasm and energy to the camp. Evan, Devin, and the rest of the coaching team did a great job creating a positive environment. It would have been nice to have more girls in the group, but overall, she really enjoyed the camp and got a lot out of it.
