Good, Fast, Cheap To Reasonable) (Pick more than 2) Maybe you’ve seen the triangle, or heard the saying, “Good, Fast, Cheap. Pick 2.” Well with Local Fence Company, I think we walked away with 2.5 of these things. Good, Fast, and Reasonable. (Summary of paragraphs below: “It’s more than just the incredible fence; it’s the no-hassle, honest, and friendly experience which is all the more valuable as a new home owner with a new build.” Look at the reviews) Our experience with our fencing surrounding our new build home started with one of our 3 neighbors wanting to build their fence, and utilizing the vendor that a large part of the community had already used. We agreed and had that 1 side built by another vendor potentially open to them constructing the rest of our fence down the road. Whilst erecting the fence, (which took double the time of our experience with Local Fence Co.) the owner and CEO approached us in an entitled, pompous, and border-lined peacocking gait as we were leaving for an errand. I analyze people’s behavior for a living and so my auto-ethnographic experience; wasn’t just in my head. He shoved his card in my hand and said, “When you’re ready.” And that was literally it. We did not continue with this company. Many vendors left cards with us, all with different encounters to pair. Many of them pushy and remnant of car sales-people of the past. Our neighbor in the back recommended Local Fence Co. as an option that they’d like to explore. The experience began with a much different tone. From the beginning, Nick, also an Owner and CEO, was kind, unassuming, knowledgeable, friendly, approachable. He measured our potential fence for a free quote which he gave an estimate of right there on the spot. He explained the difference in cost with different options like having two gates in the front, and what lengths made sense for our fence to extend to. He explained why he used the wood he chose, why things were the price they were and was very humble. He gave the vibe that if ever at a large party or dinner, he’d be a cool person to talk to or that if you were ever hosting, you'd be sure to invite him. That one meeting was enough for us to confirm going with Local Fence Co. From there, he got us in super quickly. (Albeit not always a possibility depending on time of year.) And we were ‘fenced’ a week and a half after the quote. When his 2 employees arrived to build the fences including 2 sides and 2 gates, they were done in 2 days. They too were kind, didn’t create a massive mess, and were efficient and even worked during some mild inclement weather. They laid the higher quality red cedar in quickly, and also never dry bagged the concrete. Meaning - Concrete was mixed before being poured for the posts rather than poured in from the water separately unlike our 1st fence side. They worked during reasonable working hours, unlike our 1st fence side. 2 days later and everything looked fantastic. There were a couple of planks that didn’t necessarily hold to the strong standard of the rest, and they righted those planks immediately. When we closed the experience, Nick did so in person, and continued delivering on the product by his actions. A neighbor across the street brought home a massive 85” television on a sale, and Nick went out of his way to park his car after getting ready to drive away and offered to help get it into the basement of my neighbor. What a legend. 10 out of 10 would recommend. It’s more than just the incredible fence; it’s the no-hassle, honest, and friendly experience which is all the more valuable as a new homeowner with a new build. My regret is not with Local. It is that 1 of our sides of fence isn’t up to the caliber of the other 2, and I keep noticing differences as to why, but maybe we’ll rectify that someday with Nick. If so, I look forward to that day to support this business again. Less

The Local Fence Company replaced four 4”cedar fence posts that had rotted off at ground level. The work was high quality and reasonably priced. They removed the old concrete and hauled it off. The posts were set in new concrete. The fence was reattached to the new posts and everything was aligned properly. The workmen were courteous and respectful. Less
