The funeral home itself is large, warm and an inviting family space. The staff did a lovely job preparing for visitation. There is a family lounge area where people can visit and share food/beverages. There is also a space for children with videos and toys as well as beautiful outdoor space. I cannot say enough about the kindness and compassion of the staff. Special thanks to Caspian who took the extra time to assist with a problem that I had with flowers sent through Legacy.com.I am offering a word of warning about the use of Legacy.com and advise others NOT to use this site for obituaries or to order flowers. I did not realize that they were not affiliated with the funeral home and,due to a time crunch, I placed the flower order with Legacy instead of researching options. The flowers that were sent were an embarrassment. Not at all “deluxe” in terms of the arrangement and, in addition, flowers were wilted and the water in the vase was turbid. There is no way to contact Legacy.com by phone or email even with the help of the funeral home staff. After several calls to the florist that filled the order and FTD which was sent the order from Legacy, it is finally resolved. I advise others not to order anything through Legacy.com, but rather work with the funeral home or a local floral service.Again, cannot say enough about Lee-Ellena Funeral Home and all of their staff, especially Caspian who went above and beyond to help me.

Mr. Sexton at Lee-Ellena funeral home was wonderful to work with. They made us feel comfortable during a very stressful and sad situation. Lee Ellena is the most pleasant place when you walk in. Its spacious and so comfortable down to the kids play room. The staff is very helpful and when you need time for family and friends to arrive, they will help with that. It was very nice to place pictures and family books around and place a blanket celebrating a 103 birthday over a chest, it looked very nice. It was a quiet place with music playing, that we rested Mary Jump at 103 . She had a beautiful life with 4 adoring children to help her through life. Mary was visited by her family and friends, happy that she had a good and long life. Lying between beautiful flowers she was at rest. Skylar was such a great help. Answering all out questions and making it easier to move on with livng. Everything went so well and we could not have chosen a better place to feel comfortable when making final decisions. Outstanding job, all the lady’s in the front were so courteous and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The funeral home is beautiful and so spacious perfect for larger family’s like ours also having the hospitality suite was perfect for everyone to get away and socialize for a bit. Thank you to Kimberly and the entire staff. They were incredible. My husband did not want to be laid out at visitation but I knew we had family that needed to see him before being cremated. They gave us a small private viewing which was so important for closure. The facility feels like home. We utilized the patio which backs up to woods. It was a beautiful celebration of my husbands life and he would have loved it.

Be careful when booking with this funeral home. Just had an uncle there and information regarding the burial had been changed and they did not change it on the website for all to see. Majority of family missed it bc we didn’t know the info had changed. Something we can never redo and having to miss it was devastating to some. This mistake is totally unacceptable.

I’m very impressed by this place, especially Kimberly. She explained everything well, answered our questions knowledgeably, and was extremely professional and caring throughout the whole ordeal. She was also great at handling last minute issues, overall very accommodating.The building itself is lovely, formal yet cozy. It gives a lot of breathing room with two parlors, several private rooms, the actual chapel, a dining room, and a children's room close to the chapel. I’d recommend this funeral home to anyone looking to put their family members to rest.
