I started my CrossFit journey with a different gym two years ago before joining No Excuses six months ago. I made the switch because of their focus on functional fitness and proper strength training, which is especially important to me as a woman 55+. This approach helps me enjoy CrossFit while minimizing the risk of injury.Before starting CrossFit, I often woke up with joint aches and pains (menopause doesn’t help—getting older sucks! 😁). Since starting, I feel fantastic! The CrossFit community has also been a game-changer, making the experience even better.I’ve seen people of all fitness levels thrive in CrossFit, so anyone thinking they can’t do it shouldn’t worry—it truly is for everyone looking to improve their health. I’m so glad to be part of No Excuses, where they genuinely care about the whole person. Plus, having my new No Excuses CrossFit friends makes it even more rewarding!Did my first Open competition today and it was so well organized and everyone was super encouraging. 25.1 down two more to do.I did it “survived” my first open!
