Trustworthy and reliable trades are often hard to find but Shoosmith Heating and Plumbing set the standard you would expect, (and hope for). When you have an issue you need to know you can speak to someone, Sadiah is always there to take your call and help. Andy, the engineer who has visited our home on more than one occassion, (separate issues), has always been punctual, very attentive and friendly, he has identified issues quickly and fixed those issues in a timely fashion. Could not hope for a better level of service, Shoosmith H&P set the standard and would highly recommend!

I recently moved into a flat and the cold water storage tank in the loft was having some issues, not to mention the lack of maintenance I inherited. Two gate valves were broken and the tank was overfilling.I sought a local firm and Shoosmith were excellent getting in contact with, WhatsApp and other methods. Very responsive and a date was arranged promptly.Andrew arrived exactly as scheduled and got straight to work. I was floating about with work so it was reassuringly to know someone with clear knowledge and skills was undertaking the work. Particularly given the location of the water tank which is quite literally above my head.Andrew installed new valves and put in an additional stopcock prior to the water tank which I never thought about. Now having additional isolation/backup in an emergencyAll the work was excellent and it's very reassuring to have working isolation valves and a fully functioning water tank. The firm followed up with feedback and pictures of the work which again is excellent.The cost was very good and fair. They turn up on time, talk you through the work in a way that is easily understandable, and are extremely courteous. Just had a boiler leak repaired and wanted to say what great service Shoosmith's provided. Once booked in we got email confirmation of date/time/engineer name and reminders before the visit, plus email updates as parts were needed that had to be ordered, the engineer was polite and considerate and finished the repair quickly, the boiler was repaired and we received a service report same day. The cost was well inside what we were expecting given previous dealings with other plumbing firms. Would recommend Shoosmith.
