These folks are top-notch! I was referred to them for ducting by a friends HVAC company I trust. The scope of work was pretty well defined...I just needed intake ducting replaced and four new duct runs in the main room where I removed kitchen and dining room soffits (remodel). What I ended up with is so much more than I expected. For the first time since I've lived in this house, about 8 years, I can feel cool air being pumped into my computer heavy office. I had no idea I was missing out on this. The workmanship was top-notch, all of the new duct runs for the main living area are hung properly and don't touch the attic floor. On the recommendation of my contractor, I hired Comfort One Air Conditioning to replace the ductwork during a recent home remodel. Taps was incredibly responsive especially in times of confusion (i.e., realizing at the last minute I needed to hire someone to connect my range hood for proper venting) with work that was certainly beyond his scope. All this is well and good but you can tell a lot about a company after the bills are paid and the work is complete. Last Friday I discovered my thermostat was not working. Taps returned my call immediately and was prepared to adjust his Friday/Saturday plans to come to my house and see what was going on. With the outside temperatures more than pleasant I told him this was not a rush and could wait until Monday. Juha showed up this morning to see what was going on. He determined it was some old wiring which that had gone bad and fixed it immediately. Their prices are more than reasonable. Most importantly, they are responsive and someone I have come to trust.
