This review is for the combination of a simple replacement of a fired outdoor GFCI and the trouble shooting and estimate to repair failed recessed lighting. Exceptional customer service following initial call that was answered promptly by a human. I described the problem and a service call was scheduled the next day. Electrician arrived as scheduled and began work on the two electrical issues I had. The first - a fried outdoor GFCI - was repaired on the spot in about 30m, brought to code and waterproofed. The price for doing that repair today was great. The second issue was with recessed lighting - 12 potts - that was installed by a previous owner during a complete remodel several years ago. Not wired to code, foreign parts used that are not available through normal lighting supply in the US. All 12 potts were fire hazards - 3 of them already not working, several not grounded. Wiring in the attic to the junction boxes that feed the potts not properly capped. Received an on the spot estimate for repair of this pretty big job. Very reasonable. I approved it, received a phone call within minutes of approval. The work was scheduled early the next week. When working with electrical, plumbing, etc. contractors, this kind of residential service is exceptional and well outside of the normal types of delays that contractors doing small residential jobs that can be frustrating. Highly recommend the SWD company for residential work done properly and quickly. The info below was for the work done today. I'll write a separate review for the scheduled work next week when it's completed.
