I had an extremely positive review for Kontota multiple years ago. I used them for at least 2 years. The quality this past year has gone down dramatically. I should not have to ask for a basic nail trim to be part of my groom, especially at the high costs, and to have my dogs returned without even the slightest attempt done to trim down their nails. Instead of seeing trusted faces each time come to my door, it was a parade of new people every few months, so I can only imagine hours and poor pay are reflecting high turnover.I have made the decision to not use them going forward after our latest visit resulted in someone being careless in handling my dog, allowing him to jump down from the the grooming able and causing him injury to his lower jaw, giving him a seriously bloody cut. My dog is ten years old and has small legs. He could have broken a leg or all of them. I am absolutely beyond disappointed and upset that this was allowed to happen under the care of another person who should have been prepared to help my dog down from the table. While I appreciate the response of offering to review the vet bill, no offer was made to pay for that bill, simply to review.I'm sad, because I used to very much trust this business, but I cannot in good conscious allow my dog to be handed over to such recklessness that I cannot trust even in front of my own home twenty feet away.
