I have found that you need to search around for the tutor that fits your needs best. I did have to switch my tutor once when I found that it wasn’t a good fit. However the tutor I stuck with, Morgan, has a very relatable teaching style and, most importantly, really knows her stuff. Morgan when going over questions challenges you to explain why you chose the answer you chose, and why you believe the answers you did not choose to be incorrect. This allows for a full understanding of the question you’re answering, so you’re not guessing but instead confident with your answer. The lessons prompt thinking. For me, I use most of my lesson time on asking about homework questions I got wrong, or one’s that I got right where there’s a second choice I don’t know why it’s wrong. You can really shape the time you spend with your tutor however you want, they are there to best help you improve based on your needs. I recommend Morgan as a tutor, she answers questions comprehensively, and has been really helpful for me!
