If you’re looking for a place where your kids can have fun but not truly develop, this might be the club for you. Unfortunately, there is a serious lack of structure and consistency. Coaches seem to come and go, with only a few showing real potential—and even those don’t seem like they’ll stick around long-term.Training lacks clear planning, and the teams don’t appear to follow any cohesive development pathway. There also seems to be a clear bias, especially when coaches’ children are placed on the same teams, raising questions of fairness.The owner, James, does not seem open to constructive feedback. It gives the impression that this is more of a money-making venture than a genuine effort to help kids grow in the sport.To top it off, the pitch conditions for weekend games are poor—I’ve honestly seen better-maintained back gardens.Overall, if you want your child to truly progress and develop in their sport, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Loves football has been great for my son. His skills have improved and he has now joined a team. Loves football was the perfect setting to build on his skills and confidence to do this. Highly recommend them, especially for a child who has not had much experience and wants to progress, without the pressure of a team. Less

Loves football is a wonderful football club. My son learnt so much and looked forward to playing football on Saturday’s. Everyone in the team are amazing and helpful. I would highly recommend those who want to join James ( founder) and his team. Unfortunately we had to leave due to other reasons. James the owner of business is always helping with any issues that we might have and the coaching from Chris was perfectly helpful to boost my kids confidence. A great organisation who have their priorities and values spot on. Its not about winning at all costs - its about fun, enjoyment and participation. Well organised sessions with dedicated coaches and a fantastic network of volunteers & parents making the teams work through the season. My kids really enjoy their training and matches and I know they are safe and well looked after at all times. Less

This is an absolutely superb football club. I cannot believe the amount of progress my son has made in such a short time. The coaches and other children are super friendly. There is a good number of coaches so my son gets much more interaction with the coaches than his previous club. It such a great atmosphere even I look forward to coming. Less

My son came to the game a really unconfident late starter. He has improved so much in skills and confidence in a couple of years with loves football, moving through the groups and he looks like a proper Footballer now! Sessions are well organised and James leads a team of coaches that all have the same calm, encouraging and inclusive ethos, with a skills based approach, that my son has benefitted so much from. My son has a hard time being involved in things when he doesn't know anybody, usually i try and make him do things but i didnt have too in this instance, he took to the group like a duck to water. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the kids were busy. You could tell the kids were there because they wanted to be and they behaved and played well because of it. My son has never came out of any activity and said "I loved that, can I join it" everrr!! The cost is i believe very reasonable. He's already buzzing for the next session. My son absolutely loves his twice weekly sessions with Loves Football. His skills and confidence have grown massively and I put that down to the stress-free, no pressure environment and the brilliant coaches.
