I have been going to sara studdard since her attending JD academy school. i have seen her grow as a stylist and every time i am warmly greeted and impressed with my results. every. time. i have naturally curly hair and have been straightening it for years, causing it severe damage. sara has taught me ways and styles i can use to enhance my natural curls. and even uses suggestions on what types of products to use and avoid with my curl pattern. i’m extremely detail oriented and have issues finding the perfect person to trust with my hair. i couldn’t find anyone so perfect until i met sara. she listens to my comments and concerns abt my hair cuts and coloring which she always seems to nail on the head with accuracy and for that i am very thankful. 15/10 Less

Maven and Co is one of those places where when you go in you are instantly transported into a luxurious and indulgent atmosphere. The salon is so aesthetically pleasing to the eye, it’s so clean, it smells fresh, and just overall beautiful. I have been lucky enough to get my hair done and pampered by Megan. As soon as I get in, I see my name on her little welcome frame (such a sweet nice and welcoming gesture), actually before I even go there, Megan sends a text about their Amenities menu! It asks you if you want a quiet vs chatty appointment, snacks and drinks you prefer, if you want a scalp massage, and what essential oil scent you prefer. All these small details just shows how this salon goes above and beyond the whole experience of pampering you while you are there. After all, it’s your ME time! Megan is so amazing to work with. She’s super nice and when I show her inspo of how I want my hair to look like, she DELIVERS! She’s done lowlights on my hair and she’s so patient. For summer, I wanted to transition to a lighter color and the color she did on me is 15/10! I couldn’t be any happier (photo attached). The scalp massage she gives lulls me to sleep lol! I never feel rush whenever I come here at Maven and Co. It truly is an experience coming here. A plus is they carry Kérastase products and they also use it on you for your shampoo and blowout!
