That was the first roast beef sandwich I have had since I moved up here 2 years ago and it was fantastic! I am also starting to get into the bar pizza style up here and I really like it. We also had the chicken Caesar wrap and the buffalo chicken wrap. We also loved curly fries. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend. They were also really nice, good service. Easy 5 stars!

Mad Matt’s lived up to the hype. Shop was clean, service was good, food came out fast and hot. Regular beef three way was maybe the best I’ve ever had. Onions rings were bomb too - definitely made in house which I like.Also grabbed a slice of cheese pizza to go, and was glad I did because that was fire too!

Steak n Cheese is solid a bit “Greasy” but it’s okay . Other than that their Greek pizza is honestly the best pizza slice I’ve eaten . Keep up the good work and never change your quality… 5 stars

Excellent North Shore beef experience! Super thin, piled high, cooked rare. The way it's supposed to be. Grilled and buttered onion roll with a waterfall of James River BBQ sauce. Super quick too!

I'm going to agree with basically everyone here and tell you the roast beef is fire. The pinwheels are fire one time they ran out of roast beef so I opted to get a steak and cheese sub again. Amazing. Took the kids there. They ended up getting some kind of gold buffalo boneless wing type things. They love them! I thought they were amazing but I have been craving steak tips. I can't find anywhere local that really has a good steak tip. So I searched the reviews to see if anyone had a steak tip. I found a review. They like the steak tips. I was happy I ordered them and I was not disappointed and got a steak tip salad. No onion extra dressing. The steak chips were cooked perfect for me. I got extra house dressing. Their house dressing is amazing. It's like creamy and vinegary. It's just really good. All in all I am very pleased with having this place so close and being able to have so many options. Good job guys!

Beef is absolutely incredible. This is like Pete's with Sunglasses and a Baseball Cap. Add a tiny bit more seasoning (in the perfect ratios) and grill that bun on both sides for stability and call it Mad Matt's. I'm too old to try the honey on my beef, but the Haddock and Fish and Chips here could just as easily be the star of the show over the beef if they changed the sign out front to Mad Matt's Seafood 🤌🙏
