Visited Smith’s Pets today to pick up some bits for my son’s new aquarium and some food for our dogs. I was really impressed with the selection—they had absolutely everything we needed. We’re total beginners when it comes to fish keeping, but the staff were fantastic and gave us some excellent advice to get us started with confidence. The prices were really reasonable, too. Definitely going to be our go-to spot for pet supplies from now on!

Visited Smiths Pets looking for a pair of Zebra finches. The assistant I seen there was Emily who was very knowledgeable and helpful. Emily helped me reserve a pair of Zebra finches that I could collect a few days later as the birds were in quarantine for 7 days. The quarantine seems normal practice as it helps rule out any health issue before sale. I cannot praise Emily enough for her help she gave on my recent purchase.

I bought my bearded dragon last year from smiths. Their staff are so knowledgeable and helpful. I continue to use their store for feed/ substrate and everything in between.I have just put the same bearded dragon in their boarding service whilst I went away. What can I say, they were just amazing. I was nervous leaving him as it was the first time and I was unsure on how he would get on. I couldn’t have taken him to a better place for his holiday. I messaged their Facebook page a few days in for an update and they were so reassuring and speedy with their response and my boy absolutely loved his time there. He was looked after like a little king. They took details of his routine and they adhered to it to a T. I cannot recommend Smiths reptiles enough. Great pet store with plenty of choice for all types of pet. Reptiles, fish, birds and small animals all very well cared for and looked healthy. Staff were great with both our dog and kids when visiting too!

Came to Smith's a little over a week ago to buy my daughter the full set up vivarium and bearded dragon,was served by Jon who was very polite,helpful and knowledgeable,happy to answer any questions I had and explained all about the lights,food and supplements regime. Paid for the Viv to be set up which was all done great with led bulb,heat lamp and UV lights all where they should be and carried out to the car. Thank you so much,little Cheeto is doing fab and has settled straight into his new home! Fantastic service and we will deffo be back!

Haii! I bought a giant african land snail (GALS) from here and the snails were so hard to pick from, I was served by a nice, kind lady called sam. The positive in that place was so nice, I saw other creatures like spiders and I was scared and joyfull when I saw the fish, they were so BIG! Shout out to sam, she's amazing!

Today I came in to purchase a tortoise and the equipment to set up his home. Lola was the perfect assistant and she was extremely good at explaining all the care needs and the things needed to give our new family member a happy new home. We came back later to bring our baby home and once again was a pleasure to deal with. Thank you Lola

I went to smith pets to by my first pet and a lovely girl called lynsey she was a great help she picked the the pet that would be best as a first pet she told me that the finch zebras would be suited for me she gave me advice and showed me the food toys and etc and told me the things to look out for if the birds became sick and I'm happy with how she handled everything while being professional and honest i couldn't be more happy with the birds

Brilliant place to go! So insightful and professional. They care a lot about their animals, they’re caring for. The staff are so friendly & accommodating. All the animals are beautifully taken care of, no matter what species! & You never have to feel anxious about walking in. Everyone is so kind. I really recommend! :))
