I bought the Leopard Gecko pack from here and it's been one of the best things I've bought for my Leopard Gecko. She enjoys her new tank and new tank decor that I bought from here and she atcually comes out at night now to explore instead of staying under the same hide for days at a time.I'm definitely coming back here if I ever need any new things for my gecko because it's so great to see her so happy. This place has my permanent business and will always be my first pick for anything gecko related. Thank you so much for atcually selling me good stuff for my gecko instead of just caring about making money like other places do. And this is coming from somebody who got sold a 20 gallon tank and wax worms by Pet's at home and got told "this is exactly what a Leopard gecko needs".I know my gecko appreciates it just as much as I do.

We spoke to a very knowledgeable staff member in birds section - Lindsey, she gave excellent advice about birdcare as we are looking to buy a budgie now, it was evident she knew what she was talking about which is always reassuring. We also visited the other parts of the shop which we didn't know about last time, its a lot bigger than it looks, especially enjoyed the fish area and reptile area and the cute turtles. We were super excited to see an axolotl in the fish area too (as minecrafters!). Will be back to get a cage and baby budgie soon. Wish id taken more photos to post. Next time!

George, Robbie and another gentleman whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch were all incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.They took the time to go through everything with us, and George especially really knew his stuff and gave us some brilliant advice. We bought our Axolotl, Morris, and with all the information and guidance they gave us, particularly with getting his setup right, he is absolutely thriving!It’s clear they genuinely care about the animals and want to make sure customers have everything they need to look after them properly.Would definitely recommend Smith's Pet Store and will 100% be back in the future. Fabulous shop, lovely staff. Special thanks to Jon the reptile man for the great advice re a recently purchased baby bearded dragon. Never had problems with previous ones but this one was a little spicy and constantly tried to bite me and not my girls. Anyways out of curiosity Jon suggested shaving my beard as it could have been a threat to the dragon. Fast forward 24hours, no beard, happy dragon not trying to bite me and my partners much happier too!! Win win. Great pet and life advice!!

Honestly i cannot recommend Smiths highly enough.We came in a few weeks ago to buy a vivarium and all of the things we would need to get a leopard gecko for my eldest son, Sam from the Reptile section was AMAZING, she chatted with the kids about the reptiles, showed us what we would need for a set up, then asked my sons of they would like to meet the gecko (i hadn't intended on buying one that day, only getting the viv and set up first) but the second Sam placed Mihawk in my hands wr immediately fell in love with him. Sam was so reassuring and supportive to my youngest who was a bit weary and she gave the kids so much excellent advice on how to care for the species.We ended up purchasing the gecko we had been allowed to hold and Sam even let my son write the geckos name and his name on the enclosure to make it "official" until we were able to pick him up later in the week.Ive never build or set up a vivarium before and I was so worried I would get it wrong, but I was able to message Sam through he Facebook page and she gave me incredible advice and guidance and then checked the final set up/temps etc to make sure it was suitable for the gecko before I brought him home.Its my first time owning a reptile and although I spent months researching, the support and advice Sam has given (and continues to give) has been invaluable and mihawk is thriving in his new home.Even when I popped back in over a week later with a query Sam recognised us and asked how we were getting on with Mihawk.Honestly the animals, especially the reptiles are so well cared for at Smiths and the staff are so helpful and actually knowledgeable, I would never go anywhere else.

Absolutely fabulous place and Sam from the reptile team is THE BEST!! We picked up a Leopard Gecko for my son and Sam was amazing with the kids, talking them through everything, let them hold him and even reassured my youngest as he was a little weary. she helped us get everything we needed to give Mihawk the best possible start to his new home and really went above and beyond, even providing encosure set up support and feedback before we picked him up. I was so worried I would do something wrong and she was so supportive and reassuring, advised me to move the UVB lamp to the correct position and our newest family addition has been thriving. Honestly I'm so grateful for Sam's expertise and guidance and you can tell all of the animals, especially the reptiles are so well cared for at Smiths and if we do ever need to board Mihawk, that is the only place I will take him and know he will get the best care. thank you again Sam and the Smiths team
