9/28/24 updated review.Just did a SECOND charter with Richie. That alone should speak volumes.Richie is one of the best I have ever fished with. He is a professional in every sense. My girlfriend joined us on this trip and he made sure she was given all the guidance and help needed to land some great fish. His local knowledge of the area is amazing and provides an edge some other charters cannot surpass.I would highly recommend him to anybody who is considering a fun day out catching some fish!!!All around Excellent Captain and fisherman. We caught several species during my 1/2 day charter including a few small reds, 4-5 nice trout and one huge flounder. Richie even had a tarpon on for a few seconds.Definitely would recommend if you are planning to do some fishing in the Myrtle Beach area!!!

Capt. RC will put you on the fish and work hard to do it. Look no further. I’ve fished with a lot of guides over the years up and down the east coast and I always look for 2 things: local (born and raised) knowledge and folks that take the time for live bait. You get both with Capt. RC. Just don’t bring your wife. He’ll teach her to out fish you!

My husband booked a trip with RC for the two of us during our quick trip to Myrtle Beach. This was my first fishing charter experience and Capt Richie quickly taught me how to out-fish the hubs. Ive had the privilege of going on many different charters. This was by far one of the best. I was staying in Myrtle Beach and it was an easy drive down 17 to get to the launch point. Captain was friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He is also great with young anglers. Best of all- we caught fish- a lot of fish, from the second cast to the last cast. I will be booking again.

I booked an all guys fishing trip w/ captain Richie for my boyfriend and his friends for his birthday & they absolutely loved the experience! It was their first time nearshore fishing and the captain had everything they needed. Communicating was great with the captain over the month until the trip. They are experienced fishermen, but still allowed the captain to show them the ropes on the water & caught good fish. Would definitely recommend this charter to anyone who is interested. This was my second trip with Capt Richie. We knew the conditions were tough, but wanted to spend a few hours out fishing. He put each one of us on at least one nice sized fish. He worked his butt off to get us bites. He knows the Myrtle Beach area better than anyone. It was a great day on the water and we will definitely be fishing with Capt Richie again!!If you are in the Myrtle Beach/Pawleys Island area and want to catch some fish, Capt Richie is your guy!

Captain Richie is very knowledgeable, and very patient with amateur fishermen. The weather conditions were less than ideal, but we were able to catch some fish. We had a great day on the water, saw some scenery. If I ever come to Myrtle Beach again, I will definitely book again with Captain Richie

It was a little Windy at first but we had a blast! Grand Strand Guide Service is awesome. We were last minute scheduling and they got us in and worked around our schedule for us to have an awesome day on the river fishing! Looking forward to my next trip to Myrtle Beach.

My family and I are staying in Myrtle Beach for a holiday trip and decided to book with Harvest Moon Inshore fishing trip. Weather was not our friend but RC, the captain, was very accommodating and we were able to move our start time a bit. To get to the dock was a very easy drive straight down hwy 17. We caught about 25 Red fish which we released and also caught enough Trout for a great dinner for 6. RC cleaned our catch at no additional charge. My family and I had a great time. RC was very accommodating, patient and a great teacher. My kids and I really enjoyed this adventure. Top shelf service all around.

We had an absolute blast fishing with the captain! We contacted him last minute as we weren’t sure what our plans were for our trip. He was incredibly accommodating and his prices were reasonable especially for us asking him to be out on a holiday (Thanksgiving). We met him at the dock not a long drive from Myrtle Beach (where we were staying) and definitely well worth it. We basically had the water to ourselves. He taught us how to cast and exactly where to cast. We were hooked up all day! Would definitely recommend. You wont regret it.
