Unit had some noise problems when installed due manufacturing tolerances. Cactus fixed them without complaint. I highly recommend them.

Mike from Frozen Cactus came out and really knew his business. Unlike the dozens of folks I've run into from other providers, he didn't spend the whole time BSing and upselling me and wasn't uncomfortable with me tagging along so I could learn more. My problems ended up being part solar hardware, part breaker box with a small side helping of original install mistake. He helped me work through it all including a quick run to go buy a new part. I've not been impressed by an AC repair guy before and I have to say I strongly refer Mike and Frozen Cactus.

We called Frozen Cactus out to our office in Chandler because our A/C wasn't cooling properly. This was after the company that installed our new Trane unit had already been out four times, including two semi annual maintenance visits, and each time told us nothing was wrong.Frozen Cactus actually diagnosed the problem. Within 30 minutes they found it: the unit was only set up to run on a single stage, and the second stage was wired incorrectly at both the unit and the thermostat. They kept us informed the whole time, were super nice and got us back to being cool very quickly with a new unit! Every so often, you encounter a business that reminds you competence is still alive and well.Our breathwork studio has a 15-ton commercial air conditioning unit. Some years ago, the landlord replaced it with what can only be described as the HVAC equivalent of ordering from Temu. An obscure off-brand manufactured somewhere across the Pacific, with replacement parts apparently delivered only after a committee convenes under a full moon.When it failed, the first company inspected it, disappeared for an impressive length of time, and eventually returned with a quote so ambitious it bordered on performance art.Then Caleb from Frozen Cactus arrived.He confirmed the problem immediately. The factory replacement part existed, technically, but was outrageously expensive and nearly impossible to source. Rather than shrug and pass the problem along, he found a component that met the engineering specifications, was readily available, and cost roughly half as much. Practicality; a remarkably underrated virtue.While he was at it, he helped me source replacement filters, which, thanks to the peculiar pedigree of this unit, also require special ordering. Apparently Home Depot and Lowe's have yet to anticipate the needs of mystery-brand commercial equipment.The final bill came in at less than half of the original quote.He communicated when he said he would. He arrived when he said he would. He completed the work for exactly what he quoted.It's astonishing how memorable reliability becomes in a world that has largely forgotten it.Working with Frozen Cactus wasn't merely a good experience. My parents got a brand new AC unit for $12,800 which is really expensive. It took 5 days. We ended up staying in multiple hotels across Mesa. When we got back to the house, we noticed that they damaged our drywall in the house, there was a huge hole. And then my dad went out back to the new unit and something, from a brand new AC unit that was installed an hour ago, was leaking.

Mike worked very hard in the 110 degree temp to get Midea to give him the piston which Midea diagnosed over the phone. Supposed to get part from Win Supply in Gilbert AZ. Win doesn't have the part and they are also waiting for their parts Dept to approve it. It's bizarre to say the least. Mike had been going above and beyond to try to get working on my 2 year old hvac system.

My condensation line is old galvanized pipe and was clogged with sediment and rust. It was suggested to use a vinegar and water mix to help clean the pipe. One air blast and the line expelled rusty looking slime. I'll use the 35% vinegar and water monthly to keep the pipe clean. Awesome service, my tech didn't charge more than the service call as he was only here, maybe 5 minutes or so. This has been a issue every few summers but this was the fastest resolve.
