Had issues with my AC unit. After dealing with a first contractor who couldn’t really tell me what the problem was but was very quick to tell me potential cost, I chose to get a second opinion. Searching companies and reviews I decided to contact Kevin with Centeno Air. Kevin was at my house early the next day. He quickly diagnosed the issue and was able to explain it in detail where I understood it. He fixed my unit the same day for a very reasonable price. I typically don't do reviews but working with Kevin I definitely have to give Centeno Air a shout out! I will definitely be using Centeno Air for future services!

It started with first class service when Megan answered the phone. Let her know we needed a good tune up and we have to have AC. Have a family member on oxygen 24/7 and hospice. AC has been running alot and loud. She got us scheduled for the next day. She was very caring.Kevin came out and had everything needed to get the AC up and running better. Checked over everything and even explained what he was doing and why the unit was struggling. He had to replace capacitors. Cleaned the unit and we even found out having a shaded cover was not helping the unit.The overall service was amazing from start to end. Super simple process all together from start to end. Payment was super easy as well and it did not break the bank. We will always use them for AC or Heat.You could hear the difference with the sound of the unit. Also the inside of the house has been colder.First class service, fair prices, knowledge on what they are doing. They are amazing and will get your unit running more efficiently right away.We cannot thank them enough for getting out quick, doing the service quick and making sure everything was working properly.If you want the best AC service call them today! I would give them more stars if it was an option.*Update 2026 kevin came back out right away because we had a burning smell. He changed a capacitor and unit is working even better now and no smells.

I will start my review with WOW!I recently had to replace my HVAC system. I knew it was coming after multiple repairs and I used another large San Antonio company for servicing. After some troubles when San Antonio had a prolongued freeze recently, I decided to replace my system. I am usually brand-loyal and went into this process with very specfic requirements for a replacement HVAC. I received quotes from multiple companies in the area and Centino received my business, and this is why:First, Kevin is extremely knowledgable in HVAC equipment. He took the time to answer all of my questions and educate me on the different technologies that are available. I am not well-versed in HVAC equipment so relied on reviews, fact sheets, and manufacturer advertisement initially. But Kevin spent the time to actually listen to what I wanted in a replacement system, technology, etc. He did not just rush you through the typical sales process. I really appreciated his patience and the time he took to answer my questions.Second, there was no pressure in the sales process, whatsoever. I listed out what I wanted in a system, features, brands, and Kevin let me decide. He quoted prices for a system instalation based on my requirements. The quotes were transparent and completely in-line with research I did. The entire process was seamless and smooth. They do not try to oversell for things you may not need and work with you to fully build a system that you will be happy with. Pricing is very fair for the equipment and labor. And Centeno stands behind the products they sell and their installation/labor.Third, buying the system was seamless. Megan handled all of the transactional work and scheduling. She is one of the most pleasant people to talk to and took care of everything for scheduling, invoicing, warranty, etc.For installation, Kevin and his team were prompt and efficient. They came and installed my new system. The thing that I appreciate the most is that they took the time to make sure my new system was installed correctly. Everyone was polite and professional. They protected my home with dropcloths (carpeting, furniture, walls, etc) and took great pride in the installation. I had a fairly large and complex system, and his team stayed late to make sure it was done correctly. They cut NO corners.Kevin spent the time after installation to ensure I understood all of the features, system setup options, phone controls, etc. I appreciate him taking the time with me to actually show me how to operate the system.To close, if you need HVAC service or new equipment, you should contact Centeno Air.
