Took my old car to Neighbor's Kid for the first time. I don't think they were more expensive than other places and the cheerful, friendly people with whom I interacted were a great change from "bigger" shops. That means a lot to me. Excellent service! Sure glad I went here. They quickly evaluated my son’s car, found the problem and got it fixed promptly! Saved me lots, as the previous shop just assumed it was a much larger problem. Also shared what else they could see that may need attention in the future, explained it all to us. I have used The Neighbor’s Kid Auto Repair for multiple maintenance and repairs over the last year on my 2019 Honda Pilot. Most recently they replaced the water pump and timing belt at a cost far more reasonable than the dealership. I am pleased with the work, communication, and price and will continue to use this company for all of my car needs (hopefully few and far between!) as well as general maintenance and upkeep. I am a happy, repeat customer.

I recently had an amazing experience at The Neighbor's Kid Auto Repair! My Subaru needed transmission work, and they made sure to follow Subaru’s recs. They also took their time walking me through what was going on.As a woman, it really matters to me that mechanics speak to me with respect and don’t talk down to me — and they totally nailed it. It’s sad that isn’t always the norm, so finding a shop like this one feels like a breath of fresh air.My car’s running great now, and I couldn’t be happier. I have been taking my car to The Neighbor's Kid Auto Repair in Graton for a few years now; since they opened their shop in Graton. Erik, Zack and now Jon are always really helpful and have tackled some fairly complicated repairs on my aging Mini Cooper. I'm very happy I took my Jeep and my GMC Sierra here. They were knowledgeable, transparent, and took the time to explain and show me what needed to be done, and then what had been done. They caught and repaired issues that had been neglected by the dealer shop. I wish I'd taken my Jeep to them a long time ago instead of wasting time and money at that other place. So not only did I get better service and a more pleasant experience, but I'm so glad keep my business in my local community.

This is a father son business. They are very nice people and went out of their way to help me when I was in a bind. They’re not the cheapest, but this is West Sonoma County. but I don’t think you’ll find a more honest or capable mechanic. You get what you pay for.

Where do I begin? In a world that seems to oppose you at every turn, it restores my opinion of humanity when you find someone who actually takes an interest in truly helping you. Well I found that in Erik at The Neighbor's Kid Auto Repair.My dad always told me "find a good mechanic and a good dentist...life is pretty simple after that". I bought a work truck from a guy who told me he was selling the truck because he had cancer and wasn't going to be able to work anymore. I paid top dollar and didn't haggle with him because I hoped I was helping him. Like so often in life, I got swindled. It appears the truck had been submerged and then ultimately sold to me unwittingly with a myriad of electrical issues, and had done a good job of hiding the truth.Erik and his team invested in equipment that helped troubleshoot my problem(s) and after months of working on it, I have a working truck at a more than fair price.Thank you to the professionals at " The Neighbor's Kid Auto Repair" who have restored my truck and my opinion of humanity.

This is probably the first mechanic I’ve worked with who I thought was actually being honest with me, after going to multiple mechanics for an ongoing issue and getting high bills for work that didn’t fix the issue. He took the time to actually look for what was wrong instead of trying to do a patch job and then give me a bill. Highly recommend if you are tired of untrustworthy mechanics.

Eric and his son at the neighbor’s kid are amazing! They are very easy to communicate with and very attentive. They get right back to you when you call and they give you a clear plan of action. I took my truck in with complicated electrical issues and they are working with me to diagnose it properly rather than throwing expensive parts at it.
