This product is very well made and fun to use! I place the 1/4 inch sift on top and place the smaller finer 1/8 sift below. Larger on top of the smaller stacked. I rip right through it. So much fun actually, I harvest castings to early and often. I’d post a video, however I harvested 2 days ago and didn’t think about it.

The Wormgear Turbo Sifter is an amazing product from an amazing company. As a whole, the experience with working with Wormgear and their product was very professional and well done. The owner of the company Dan Lonowski is so easy to work with. He is kind, has great communication skills and is very quick to respond to any and all questions or concerns you have. Wormgear sent us the Turbo Sifter. We use it to sort mealworms as well as red runner roaches. The shipping time was extremely fast. When we received the package, the packaging was very nice. It came with great labeling in neat well-organized boxes. It came with instructions within the product. So far, we have tested the product for two weeks and have been thrilled with the outcomes. The Turbo sifter is very durable and has polypropylene film labels that are impervious to water or solvents. This is a huge plus for us because we wash all of our sifting supplies between every sift. This means that the product will have longevity. It made a typical thirty-minute job take less than five minutes. We were able to sort with ease. It was so simple our 5-year-old daughter wanted to do it and she was able to sift the bugs with zero problems. We recommend this product and this company to anyone interested. It has been a wonderful experience and has made our lives simpler!

This product is not cheap but you get what you pay for. Instead of wasting money on cheaper soil sifters, I should have purchased a Wormgear Turbo Sift a long time ago. It is really efficient and easy to switch out the sifting trays with different mesh sizes. It is totally over engineered which is a good thing. Buy this and you will not need to get another one, ever.

The product works ok considering its all manual labor. .But what was to cost $ 296.00 USD had costed us $475.15 CANADIAN and now received a bill from FEDEX for another $136.90 almost 3 months later.. $ 612.02 total ... .Very expensive product....

The Turbo Sift product is excellent. The fit, finish and heft of the gear is truly top-notch. After years of using rickety hand sifters in my small to medium size home vermiculture operation, this is a welcome change. I enjoyed working with Worm Gear. The WORMGEAR Turbo Sifter has been one of my favorite purchase for my compost, vermicompost, and garden I've ever made. Not only have I screened enough castings for sale that it's paid for itself, but its size allows me to bring it to educational opportunities for demo. Even if I eventually upgrade to a scalable screening system I'll have my Turbo Sifter for forever. There's always a time and place for it. Exceptional quality and will likely last a lifetime.

I've use the Wormgear Turbo Sift compost screener to sift out my vermicompost. It makes my work a lot faster, the tool feels quality made. I used to handsift a lot of vermicastings with just a simple DIY screen made from wood and 1/8" & 1/4" hardware cloth. I also retrofitted a trash basket with a rod, so I could spin it around with my power drill. None of these DIY contraptions come close to the ease of use with Turbo Sift. It fits snug on top of a mortar tub, I can place it at the right height and don't have to bend over any more.
