This product is very well made and fun to use! I place the 1/4 inch sift on top and place the smaller finer 1/8 sift below. Larger on top of the smaller stacked. I rip right through it. So much fun actually, I harvest castings to early and often. I’d post a video, however I harvested 2 days ago and didn’t think about it.

This product is not cheap but you get what you pay for. Instead of wasting money on cheaper soil sifters, I should have purchased a Wormgear Turbo Sift a long time ago. It is really efficient and easy to switch out the sifting trays with different mesh sizes. It is totally over engineered which is a good thing. Buy this and you will not need to get another one, ever.

The product works ok considering its all manual labor. .But what was to cost $ 296.00 USD had costed us $475.15 CANADIAN and now received a bill from FEDEX for another $136.90 almost 3 months later.. $ 612.02 total

The Turbo Sift product is excellent. The fit, finish and heft of the gear is truly top-notch. After years of using rickety hand sifters in my small to medium size home vermiculture operation, this is a welcome change. I enjoyed working with Worm Gear.
