Overall really happy with the experience. Had a turbo boost leak while on the road and they were able to squeeze us in so we could countinue. They fixed the leak/leaks and for now at least it`s running great again. The only downpoint I have is that they bent the car key and didn`t mention it to us at all. Less

Had some major work done on my wifes 2008 Nissan XTrail TD, absolutely blown away at the quality and detail of the work done by Chris, after the major work was completed the underside and engine bay of the car looked like it had just come off the showroom from new. Work Chris had done was to perfection with attention to detail and nothing left unchecked as a few more things needed to be done that Chris had picked up to bring it back to tip top condition. Example of work done was 4 new shocks, 2 x front CV joints, 2x lower control arms, new harmonic balancer, serpentine belt, 2x idler pulleys, fuel, air & cabin filter, gearbox oil changed out as per my request.+ a tyre shine and car wash he done. Cannot fault Chris’s work and the overall price charged i was happy as parts alone where up there. We have had the car from new and its done 374,000 kms with nothing major ever done to it other that a new steering rack and a expensive tail-shaft replaced a few years back as the rear universal joint was knackered but you cannot replace them you have to buy the whole tail-shaft ($1600). Back to Chris and ACE Mechanical repairs, highly recommend his work, very competitive and more so very thorough with his knowledge and his workmanship. 10 out of 10 from me. Cheers Alf Jessup Less
