I have taken piano lessons with Emily for a couple of years. Emily has been patient with me as I am an adult student and a full time employee. She is strict but is very gentle in her teaching. I enjoy coming to classes and have learned a lot under her guidance. I highly recommend Emily.

Emily takes the time to get to know you first as a person. Her patience (especially with me!) seems limitless. She teaches using a variety of techniques. I especially enjoy doing the rhythm games. My progress is very good, and in January it will be one year that we’ve been studying piano. I’m pleasantly surprised at how much growth I’ve experienced in just one year. I’m ready for year 2!!!

Our experience with Emily as a piano teacher has been phenomenal. She is a calming presence that is nevertheless enthusiastic about her craft and communicates that through modeling to her students. My son loves going to lessons where he has not only learned much in terms of knowledge and technique, but has increased his love of creating music. He particularly enjoys the monthly group music classes, which have acquainted him with the exciting communal aspect of making art. We highly recommend Emily to students of all ages!
