I am so glad I decided to take the plunge and get hearing aids from Dr. Steele THE HEARING GUY!! I originally was under the impression my insurance would provide me with a set. Dr Steele took his time and explained to me the differences between going through my insurance vs getting my devices from them directly from him. I love the fact that by choosing to go through he was able to spend more time with me and focusing on my needs. He even helped me set them up on my phone at no additional cost. The fact that I can get in to see him quicker if I have an issue at no additional cost is such a relief!! I know the saying "you pay for what you get" is so true and I can hear so well, I probably would have paid more if he asked. Thank you Dr Steele. You have my changed my life for the better!!

As a United Healthcare cutomer. I was notified that the amount that they pay them is not worth the effort.I was kept waiting 40 minutes for a fitting apointment. I was not given properly programmed devices ($3000). They wouldnt even hook up the bluetooth on my Iphone unless I paid extras.I am still trying to get them to work.I would never walk in her again and will make sure that United Healthcare learns about this. Only go if you want to be upsold.

I was traveling out of town and discovered an issue with replacing the wax guard on one of my aids. Dropped by The Hearing Guy and asked the receptionist about it. She said the audiologist was available and could look at it. Gentleman told me he couldnt fix it and it would be have to be sent back to maker. He condescendingly asked me if I had done something wrong to cause the malfunction. I think He must see too many old people every day. After a couple of minutes he sent me back to the receptionist that told me it would be a $39 service to talk to the audiologist. For a few minutes? Without telling me first. Nontheless, I brought it in to my audiologist back home and the receptionist fixed it in minutes.

I would not hesitate to refer this business to anyone. Dr. Steele and Madison were professional, yet friendly and caring at the same time. I never felt pressured like I have from other hearing aid businesses. Dr. Steele took the time to explain everything to me in detail which was wonderful. I give them 5 stars because they earned it.

I’ve seen Dr. Steele two times now, and my husband has seen him once, all for earwax removal. We’re both unlucky people who have small ear canals that gather and retain lots of wax. Dr. Steele did a wonderful job each time, and I couldn’t recommend him more. He has very good bedside manners, a good sense of humor, and genuinely just wants to help people. Just make sure you use the debrox drops to help soften the wax up for 4 days before your visit!

Dr. Steele and Madison are wonderful!!! Dr. Steele helped me understand why I am having so much trouble hearing certain sounds. He even had my wife get involved during the testing of hearing aids.
