These guys are absolute lifesavers! I made a mistake and fried my laptop’s motherboard, so I went to Bits n’ Bytes for a professional diagnosis. Sure enough, my motherboard was more fried than a sunny-side-up egg. They quoted over $600 for a new one but, considering my laptop was eight years old, they actually advised me to buy a new device instead—honest advice that I really appreciated.I managed to find a replacement motherboard at a lower price, and they even credited the diagnostic fee toward the installation. Then, when another issue popped up, they fixed it without charging me a dime!I don’t know if I just got lucky, but these guys had the patience of saints and provided truly outstanding service. I don’t think they realize it, but they literally saved my degree by saving my laptop. I’ll always be grateful to Bits n’ Bytes for their kindness, expertise, and integrity. We have been dealing with Bits N’ Bytes for more than six years and have never been dissatisfied with their work. We have had questions answered, laptops fixed and purchased new laptops from them. In Nov of 2024 we purchased a reconditioned laptop form them. When we picked it up everything had been transferred from the old to the new flawlessly, even some hard-to-find programs. We just purchased a second laptop from Bits N’ Bytes in Jan 2025 and had the same results we have always had. Everything was moved perfectly. When we picked it up Jeff took the time to show us everything we needed to know about the new laptop and to make sure all the programs were working. Before we left, we also purchased the one-year maintenance plan for both laptops so we know everything will be like new for some time.
