We went for afternoon tea very disappointing staff didn't seem to know what they where doing items missing waited a long time had go keep asking for things over n over. Three was 6 of us and they brought 4 peoples food n we waited 10mins for the other 2's food then there was food missing. Wasn't worth the money. Complaint put in manager was very apologetic now we are going to go again but not for afternoon tea so will review when been again.Won't let me post a new review however couldn't have been better the food was amazing Eve served us and went above and beyond fantastic. The beef dinner was amazing the beef just melted in your mouth. All 6 of us really enjoyed it and two are definitely coming back for tapas. Couldn't have been a more different experience to the afternoon tea absolutely over the moon Thanxs The cove for a really amazing time and thanxs Eve great server but really nice person.

Went to The Cove for a belated Mother’s Day outing and was really impressed. The Sunday dinner was outstanding, I had the trio of meats and couldn’t fault it. I also added a side of truffle broccoli, which was delicious.The staff went above and beyond, especially a waitress called Eve, who made sure our child still got ice cream even though it had sold out for the day. Overall, it was a perfect Sunday lunch experience.

We had a selection from the Tapas menu, food was lovely, nice portions and very tasty. Reasonably priced and friendly attentive staff. Will definitely go back midweek when their offers are on.👏😋😁

Stopped by over the weekend for some food and drinks and were lucky enough to grab a table outside in the sunshine, as it was full inside. The staff were lovely and very accommodating even though we hadn’t booked. The tapas was delicious — the gambas pil pil and patatas bravas were especially incredible! I also really enjoyed the Hawkstone lager on draught.Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
