We were in Tynemouth for the Mouth of the Tyne Festival and decided to pop in for a few drinks. Despite how busy it was, they were able to accommodate our group of six, which was a great start to the afternoon.All of the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and our waitress, Isabella, was especially helpful. She recommended the White Sangria and Hugo Spritz cocktails, and we ended up ordering a couple of jugs of each. Both were excellent and great value for money, the White Sangria was definitely my favourite. With fresh fruit it was the perfect drink for a summer’s day and one I’d highly recommend.The atmosphere was fantastic, with a real buzz from the festival, and the service remained attentive and friendly throughout. We had a brilliant time and left feeling very well looked after.We’ll definitely be returning the next time we’re in Tynemouth. Highly recommend.

Bottomless brunch is definitely amazing and good value, Tapas was amazing and tasked delicious and there cocktails were very nice as well.Definitely was able to get a good amount of cocktails and staff were very nice and they were quick to bring a new cocktail one you had finished you current one.Was also a very good choice of gluten free options as well for the tapas, when speaking to the waiter about the side was told that the chips can also be done gluten free and that they are done in a separate fryer.

The Cove is a fantastic spot. The food is generous and absolutely sumptuous. There's a good selection of drinks, and the staff are superb; Savannah's service in particular is second-to-none. Great music, lighting and vibe too. The outdoor seating area is also nice and clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend! A rare 5 stars!

Me and my partner went for Sunday roast last weekend and the food was absolutely gorgeous! I thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff were lovely and drinks were good!We ordered the beef roast and mixed meat roasts - delicious! But we also ordered the cauliflower cheese, this was piping hot but a little dry for my liking it was literally cauliflower + cheese. There was minimal cheese sauce/béchamel sauce unfortunately. That’s the only note I would leave!Otherwise it was delicious!The restaurant was lovely and gorgeous however, the toilets could do with a little bit of love, the toilet seats were hanging off on all the toilets and one of the taps was loose with no paper towels (there were hand dryers - I prefer tissue). But again small things, we will definitely be back and have recommended the cove for Sunday dinner! Thank you for the delicious dinner!

Visited 28/5/26 and so glad we booked. So many people turned away. First time visiting and we will be back. Very tasty tapas and great value for money. Lovely atmosphere.

This was such an amazing place to eat, it was my birthday and I was treated like a princess! All the staff brought such warm energy and really made my night. They all were amazing and chatty! The food was incredible, we wish we could have all ordered more but got so stuffed! Thank you so much, we cannot wait to return!

I hired the private dining area up the very steep, tricky stairs there was no lift so not suitable for anyone not so mobile. However, the Tapas meal (only option available at that time of day) was gorgeous everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the young male waiter was very obliging and attentive (tall didn't get his name) so friendly and polite. We had the room for 2 1/2 hours so ample time to enjoy our meal we could have then moved to another part of the venue if we'd wished. This event took place on Saturday 02/05/26 in the afternoon. No complaints from me or my crowd. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.

Went in for Bottomless Brunch. Absolutely amazing! Best bottomless I’ve been to, Savannah, Eve, Scarlett and Sun absolutely amazing staff, atmosphere was amazing Dj in the corner. Would 100% recommend.

We went for afternoon tea very disappointing staff didn't seem to know what they where doing items missing waited a long time had go keep asking for things over n over. Three was 6 of us and they brought 4 peoples food n we waited 10mins for the other 2's food then there was food missing. Wasn't worth the money. Complaint put in manager was very apologetic now we are going to go again but not for afternoon tea so will review when been again.Won't let me post a new review however couldn't have been better the food was amazing Eve served us and went above and beyond fantastic. The beef dinner was amazing the beef just melted in your mouth. All 6 of us really enjoyed it and two are definitely coming back for tapas. Couldn't have been a more different experience to the afternoon tea absolutely over the moon Thanxs The cove for a really amazing time and thanxs Eve great server but really nice person.

Went to The Cove for a belated Mother’s Day outing and was really impressed. The Sunday dinner was outstanding, I had the trio of meats and couldn’t fault it. I also added a side of truffle broccoli, which was delicious.The staff went above and beyond, especially a waitress called Eve, who made sure our child still got ice cream even though it had sold out for the day. Overall, it was a perfect Sunday lunch experience.

Stopped by over the weekend for some food and drinks and were lucky enough to grab a table outside in the sunshine, as it was full inside. The staff were lovely and very accommodating even though we hadn’t booked. The tapas was delicious — the gambas pil pil and patatas bravas were especially incredible! I also really enjoyed the Hawkstone lager on draught.Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
