We had a great experience with Alura Window Decor and the installation of the automatic window blinds. There were already 2 Somfy automatic window blinds in our residence, but they weren’t working correctly. So, Tyrone was sent out so we could get 2 additional automatic blinds with black-out shades to “match” what we already had. After he came out and measured the new windows, Tyrone was able to troubleshoot the issue with current blinds and figured out the batteries needed replacement. Additionally, we decided to get additional textured shades for our French doors that matched well with the rest of the house! I finally found a place with great service, installation, prices and selections!I was working with another company for four large upper motorized blinds for my house. After months of hassles, the original company finally installed the blinds. But the installers left before any of them worked, and the franchise owner refused to do anything about it because the installers said everything was fine.By chance I found Alura Window Décor and explained my situation to them. The owner came out promptly, spending a long time looking at the problems and calling his contacts in the industry. He did not charge me anything.Short of suing the original company, I worked it out with them. I had Mr. White of Alura come out again for a service call. After two visits, many hours at my house and behind the scenes, he resolved all the problems. I paid a small service fee for one, not two visits. I am so pleased with the results.Too many window treatment/blind companies are started by inexperienced people who think that because their overhead is low, they can make a lot of money. Stay away from them! I''ve lived in five states with many homes and with many windows over the years. Alura Widow Décor is the kind of place you want to go with. Mr. White has been in the business for over 20 years. I highly recommend them!
