I had been using this cleaning service for multiple locations — including my home in Grand Terrace and a commercial office in Huntington Park — and at first, everything seemed great. The communication was responsive, the service was consistent, and I even offered the owner positive feedback to help her grow the business. Unfortunately, my experience ended on a very unprofessional and unsettling note.On one of their recent visits to my home, a new cleaning staff member entered my personal office and bedroom without prior consent. Shortly after, I realized that $750 in cash, which had been stored in a known location (under a screen on my office desk near the iPads and printer), had gone missing. I brought this to Andrea’s attention directly and respectfully — not accusing anyone, but simply informing her and asking that her staff be given the opportunity to return and potentially locate the money in case it had been misplaced.At first, Andrea responded appropriately and even offered to replenish the funds if her crew was responsible. She said, “If you feel like our crew took the money, we will replace it…” and immediately ended the service agreement, stating that continuing to service my property made her staff feel “uncomfortable.” I accepted that decision without argument, thanked her, and tried to resolve the situation amicably.However, what followed was an increasingly unprofessional and manipulative back-and-forth.Despite initially offering to replace the money, Andrea and her team started changing their tone. They claimed no cash had been seen in the home. They attempted to blame my cousin, who was home at the time I was.The tone quickly shifted from accountability to evasion. Andrea and her team asked me to review my own security footage — essentially pushing the burden of investigation back onto me — and suddenly began walking back their earlier willingness to reimburse me. She went from stating, “we will replace it,” to now asking me to confirm if my own cousin did not take jt and whether or not I had “proof.”Then came the payment games. Despite having accepted Zelle payments throughout our entire working relationship, Andrea suddenly refused to accept payment that way and insisted on a check. This felt like a petty and avoidant maneuver. She then tried to reframe the situation as if I was demanding money without reason — when it was her who offered, in writing, to resolve the issue.This kind of behavior is not just unprofessional — it’s unethical. I made every effort to handle the matter respectfully and discreetly. I even continued to pay my outstanding invoices and never once raised my voice or demanded anything beyond what was fair.But to be clear: this service allowed a staff member to enter my personal space without consent, failed to take reasonable accountability for a serious issue, and ultimately attempted to gaslight me into doing the investigative work myself — all while dodging a promise to make it right.If you’re thinking about using this cleaning service, especially in spaces where privacy and trust matter, I would strongly urge you to reconsider. No amount of initial professionalism is worth the lack of integrity I experienced when something went wrong. Less
