Guy Israel provided us with a quality experience and really explained everything we needed to understand about replacing our roof. He didn't try to oversell and was very transparent on anything he was discussing. His quote provided a great value in both the product and warranty. We ultimately decided to go with a company that provided both solar and roofing services in one, but if we did not decide to bundle them, we would have gone with Apollo as they provided the best with regard to the roofing. And even with us deciding on another company, Guy offered and provided us with an honest review of the other company's quote, so we were able to fully understand the pros and cons.

We worked with Sam, who was beyond wonderful. Superb communication, easy to reach, crystal clear, very accommodating and eager to meet our needs. He answered every question thoroughly, handled the entire project with aplomb. We got photos throughout the process so we could track progress. Our roof was tricky in several ways, including a lot of unexpected damage and mold and deterioration of substructure. Sam worked with his crew to ensure everything was repaired carefully, and facilitated the installation of new gutters, some new vents, painting, caulking, and cleaning. He even had his team repair one of the exterior walls of our house where extensive mold damage had occurred. Sam also got us through the inspection process smoothly. Marcela in the office was so efficient and kind, and the invoicing process was clear and easy. This company has OUTSTANDING customer service and did a gorgeous job on ur beautiful new roof!

The existing roof on my 87 year-old duplex in Berkeley was overdue for replacement. The 30 year-old single ply bitumen on the 3:12 low pitch flat surface had started to disintegrate. Of the three competitive estimates I received, I chose Apollo Roofing primarily because of Project Manager Sam Braik. Being an excellent communicator, he patiently answered many dozens of my questions and guided me toward the most suitable and economic solution - that being a triple-layer thick modified bitumen surface that should last 30 to 40 years. The demo and install went smoothly and took 2 1/2 days. In addition, I requested the installation of a new metal entry hatch, two whirlybird vents, six ‘roof crickets’ (to prevent water pooling) and a Solatube solar-powered exhaust fan. The crew of six were efficient and friendly. Thanks also to operations managers Chris and Andrew. All in all, I am very satisfied with my choice of Apollo.

I can’t recommend Apollo enough. After requesting quotes for some small roof repairs, Apollo was the first to provide an official quote, and it was the most competitive and logical one we received. They were so popular that they were booked for months, but because we were worried about the rain, they sent someone over to patch the cracks temporarily until they could start the full job. That level of care really stood out to us.Months later, they completed the work and even painted the affected walls afterward. There was a small hiccup where the wrong paint color was used, but Nicolas assured us he would correct it as soon as we got the right color—and he did. In a world where contractors charge high fees just for an estimate, Apollo stands out by prioritizing the client and spending extra time to make sure everything is done right. I will continue hiring them for any future work.

This was a long overdue review but we had an absolutely amazing time working with Guy Israel and his crew to replace our roof last year. Amongst all the contractors we reviewed, Guy was the most professional and thorough - he not only explained the whole re-roofing process with his prototype, but he also took extensive photos of our roof via his drone to give the exact estimate (which no other contractor did either). He also went to all the houses we liked to understand what kind of roof we wanted.Additionally his crew was always on time and diligent in their work - they made sure that it was safe for us to move in and out of the house while they were working and left the place spectacularly clean at the end of every day.Guy was prompt in his communication at all times and even pre-poned the work a little bit to get the roof completed before it rained (and trust me ours was a huge and steep roof!)I cannot recommend them enough for all the work they did and how amazing the house looks afterwards - hire them. You wont regret it!

Apollo roofing has superb service. Daniel was great to work with from beginning to end. I’m happy with that overall work and process. Their pricing was fair with others but I like the explanation of everything compared to other companies. The copper add on was pricy but I think in general copper is expensive. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. I do like that they use a drone to show me all the pics because how else can you truly see the work progress without climbing your own roof.

I'd recommend anyone to get their roof done by Apollo. They are honorable people. It was a challenging time for us as we were told our insurance was going to be cancelled because we had a cedar shake roof and we live in Los Gatos where there is more fire risk. Guy came and suggested this cement tile that looks very much like cedar shake and has an A fire rating. I had researched for months looking at everything on the internet about products that looked like Cedar shake. We have a French Tudor style house and all the options and sample we were sent looked nothing like Cedar shake. Guy's suggestion looks amazing on our house. Apollo took care of us and made sure everything was perfect. I know if we had gone with others it would not have been handled as well. Apollo are people of integrity and would be q very wise choice. They are also a wonderful value.

Sam and his team replaced the roof of our 3-unit building— including the addition 2 skylights in each unit—in just under a couple of weeks. We chose Apollo because of their initial price quotes and warrantee, and the fact that they offered a 'one stop shop' in terms of additional construction & materials for the skylights. Sam was patient and responsive even when extremely busy, and the team was great. Now that the heavy rains are upon us it's really nice not to have to worry about whether the roof will hold. We had a wonderful experience with Apollo Roofing. Our roof was 25+ years old and needed replacing. We received multiple quotes, but the best consultation experience was with Apollo. Daniel Dahan came over and thoroughly explained the whole process to us, did a demo using informative collateral, and patiently answered all our questions. He then provided a very competitive quote. Daniel was also our project manager and oversaw the crew to ensure they did a great job. We're thrilled with how our new roof looks and have the peace of mind of a 50 year warranty.
