We have always wanted our child to join the jiu jitsu because we wanted her to gain self-confidence and gain or be more attentive or clear on performing a task etc.…Since our child has joined jiu jitsu, we have noticed the difference in her fitness or body strength, self-defense, mental focus, better coordination and body awareness – they are becoming more active with sports lately. Our child enjoys jiu jitsu. They look forward to their 2-day a week session. They like practicing with a partner which develops resilience, teamwork, and communication with others. They try to practice what they have learnt to us at home. They are learning how to stay calm under pressure and bounce back from setbacks. Jiu jitsu is a very good for their learning experience, physical, mental and character growth, as well as social and life skills especially for a person like them who has autism.Thank you, Gracie Barra, for the amazing opportunity of training journey for our child with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and their experience with the team!
