At the end of a trip around Australia, my wife and I spent a couple nights at Edge -- before we even walked in the door of our villa we knew we hadn't booked enough time. Our villa, like all villas, is seated on a picturesque pond overlooking the arch bridge in the middle of a 100+ hectares property that feeds relaxation, calm, serenity, and connection with nature. More on that. It is the perfect backdrop for a couple's getaway, a solo retreat, or a small group of friends could really have a nice time renting out all four villas - individual privacy with communal convenience. We enjoyed exploring the property, morning coffee and evening evening wine by the lake, warm fire and stars in the evening. Everything perfectly appointed and thoughtfully assembled. But it also serves as the perfect jumping off point to explore nearby beaches, cliffs, restaurants, and the best wineries in Australia. You will need weeks to explore them all. As someone who is from the area but moved to Perth for work, it’s so relaxing and refreshing to be back amongst all the open space and the green, with a spectacularly appointed room to trump any boring hotel, just what you need to unwind and reset. BEST SOUTH WEST GETAWAY! If you're looking for a peaceful, private, romantic, luxurious get away in the most idyllic location - this is the place for you. What impressed me most with the clear communication from the owners and Claire's hospitality. The villas themselves were super private, everything was well thought out and were incredibly luxurious. The natural light coming through in the morning was amazing and then you get hit with the awesome view of the lake and Cameron's Bridge. Very friendly owners that take obvious pride in the experience they are delivering. Booking & the check-in/out experience was well communicated and easy to comprehend. The property is neat, presents very well in general and can be described as tranquil. It feels like everything has been thought through to calm the senses. The villas are modern, private, comfortable and as is very importantly to us, clean. My favourite thing to do was to sit out on the deck wrapped up in a blanket overlooking the dam while drinking a cup of the lovely Margret River coffee provided. This has now become the only place I will stay in when coming to the Margaret River region. Check in instructions sent a few days prior were clear. The Villa was absolutely stunning and very well designed. This was a solo trip for me and a great way to rest and reset. Everything was perfect -- the views were as wonderful as pictured, the property was safe, well kept and and quiet, and the products gave a real feeling of luxury. I ran into Clare and Cameron on the second day and they were lovely to chat with (Cameron helped me set up my fire for the second night). I believe most people who stay here are couples but the peaceful lake and huge deck make this a most serene place for solo travellers to enjoy some yoga, meditation, and reflection. Perfect winter escape! We stayed for four nights and loved every minute of it. The Villa and property are beautiful. The owners have thought of everything when building these villas but in particular the double sided fireplace, deep soak bath and large deck looking over the lake make for an exceptional stay. It was so peaceful and we didn’t hear anyone else during our stay. The owners have also gone the extra mile to provide small touches that make a big difference like locally sourced coffee, tea, wine and high quality locally made toiletries. The perfect romantic winter getaway! The villas are absolutely beautiful and the perfect place to unwind in the middle of nature. We loved the fireplace, it’s soo cozy! Honestly the best place I have ever stayed! It was absolutely magical and every single thing in the villas has been clearly thought out down to the TV being on a wall mount so that you can pull it out and watch TV in bed. Im reluctant to review Edge Luxury because Im concerned they will get too busy and I will not get another booking. Our 3 night stay was outstanding. From the time we opened the front door, we were faced with a stunning lake view and a beautiful space. It's very tastefully decorated and calming. We have never stayed anywhere before that was this quiet. The property was full and yet we did not hear any other guest (not even a voice) No children or road noise. Just birds and frogs.
