Our DJ, Dallas, was the best! So professional: arrived early to set up, had a great playlist, took requests all night, and stayed as long as we wanted to dance. Would definitely use V&L Events again.

Erik and his team provided such a great experience - from communication, to lighting, and music, it was done seamlessly. Just trying to figure out what event to book them for next.

I used Erik at Velvet & Lace Events for my twin’s backyard Bar Mitzvah after party. He was professional, worked with other talent and day of coordinators and zigged zagged to accommodate my needs in the days leading up to the event when weather was not looking in our favor. His music was perfect for the kids and families and just did a great job overall. I will hire him for my next event for sure!! My youngest son’s Bar Mitzvah is just around the corner!

We had such a great experience with Dallas at Velvet and Lace. He showed up early, set things up, and kept a good read of the room the whole night. Velvet and Lace were the best! From the initial booking through the entire event, everything went smoothly and perfectly. Erik was always quick to reply to any questions and made sure that our daughters party was exactly like we planned. Dallas was our DJ and he called a few days before to get an idea of what we wanted and then he made it happen. He was great with the teenagers at the party and kept them entertained and having fun.

We had a great experience with Velvet and Lace events for our backyard wedding reception! Erik was really communicative and made it easy to plan how the DJ would fit into the event.Our DJ Dallas was super nice and did a great job building a music vibe from the playlists/songs we had recommended for the different portions of the night. The first few hours of the reception felt like a chaotic blur to me and my spouse, but Dallas did a great job with keeping the music and vibe going for the cocktail hour and getting dinner started! I also really appreciated that he checked in with us around dinner to ask if we were happy with the music or if he could make any changes - I thought it was really thoughtful and proactive how he checked in! As it happened, the music was perfect and we really were happy with how things were going. The lights and aesthetic of the setup looked so pretty, too!I'm really happy we chose Velvet and Lace events and that Dallas was our DJ, it was a great experience!
