The Running Room Clovelly

I've been seeing Diana from the Running Room for about 5 months now and I couldn't recommend her more if you're a runner dealing with a chronic injury, coming back from one, or simply wanting to improve your running performance through strength training.I initially consulted for a tendinopathy in my hip flexors that was preventing me from increasing my mileage and limiting me during hard sessions at faster paces (faster than 3:20/km for me). After about a month of rehab exercises (while continuing to run), most of my symptoms were gone, but I've nonetheless kept coming back to Diana because it's become a great way for me to work on the continuous improvement of my running mechanics. I now consult about once a month to build and adapt my strength routine, which has been a game changer in my running performance this year. Not only have I managed to stay off any serious injuries, but I've also made tremendous progress in strength and stability, which allowed me to PB in every distance I've raced this year, from the mile to the half marathon. So, if you've been inconsistent with or have simply skipped strength training altogether — as many runners (myself included) tend to do — I highly recommend you give the Running Room a try!
