My son has been at this gym for almost a year. It didn’t take long for my husband and I to join in. It is very family friendly.I started with the women’s class and now do the regular BJJ adults class too. Many available class options including Kick boxing and mma.The most important part to me is the community. The vibe of this gym is light, welcoming and social! So many laughs along with learning a great self defense skill. They have a YouTube channel with comical broadcasts about the gym’s activities. They often participate in charities which adds to the sense of strength within community.The coaches really know how to teach resilience and discipline while remaining compassionate, engaging and fun for the kids!

Coach Aaron and Tom are really kind and helpful. The gym is kept very clean and the community is welcoming to new people. I like that they have a variety of classes. Being a female in a male dominated sport can be difficult, but the guys are great to roll with and really encouraging. They also have a handful of females who train there which is nice. Highly recommend this gym.

Awesome gym with great instructors and a clean, well maintained space. As a woman, I feel safe, respected, and welcomed here. The community is friendly and supportive, making it a great place to train and connect with others. Plus they are always coming up with new classes and events to help students grow. Finally a BJJ gym in York for all ages! My four year old loves it! He’s quickly learning and breaking out of his shell. The instructors are knowledgeable and great with all of the kids.

If you kid’os need to expel some frustrations in a controlled environment, look no Further. This team really know how to instruct kids safely. My kids definitely can’t get enough!My only Con is class sizes can be really big some day (not all), wish there was more then 1 class especially on the weekends.I would also like to see a fundamental class or at least offer some ways for kidos who need a little more time to digest their new skills so they sink in. The instructors real do a great job overall and do spend time, just wish there was opportunity to build the fundamentals.

The best Family-Friendly and skill Focus BJJ gym in York!This is hands down the best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym for both kids and adults! Had a great experience from the first time I walked in the door. I was able to put my daughter in a practice class before committing to anything. The instructors are so good with the kiddos! Amazing place overall!
