We had such a great experience! We were three women who had absolutely no idea what we were doing when it came to driving a Jeep on the beach 😂, and they made the whole process so easy. They took the time to explain everything really well, answered all of our questions, and made sure we felt comfortable and confident before we headed out. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and the Jeep was perfect for exploring the island. We had the best time and would absolutely rent from them again. Highly recommend!

I had to cancel less than 24 hrs before my car rental because of a medical emergency. They were so understanding. Such a breath of fresh air for a car rental place. We will always rent from them going forward, and you should too.

There aren't enough words to describe how impressed we were of Affordable Rentals! We had originally booked the little electric Beemer, but when we arrived to pick it up, the gentleman behind the counter (owner/manager, not sure?) Saw the 2 men in our party and figured the car was too small and upgraded us to a Ford Escape. (We didn't even ask. He just did it). We were advised to fill the car with gas before dropping it off to avoid paying even more than the already high per gallon price on the island. However, the gas station was closed on Sunday morning, so we were OK with paying the higher fee. But when we dropped the car off, he told us not to worry as it wasn't our fault tge gas station wasn't opened. On top of that, he offered to let us keep the car a little longer because it was pouring buckets when we dropped it off. We declined because we were only 2 hours from our scheduled ferry departure. So he recommended a restaurant near the wharf where we could get a bite and wait out of the rain. Then (and this is where "above and beyond" went into outer space) as we were waiting in the terminal for the ferry, my phone rings and its Affordable Rentals asking where we were because they found a backpack in the backseat. (In our rush to drop the car off in the torrential downpour, our travel companions forgot to grab it). I have never before had such a positive experience renting a vehicle. With the limited rental opportunities on Nantucket, they could just be basic and nobody would think twice. But they are a top-notch and classy organization. If you need a vehicle, they are the place to go!
