I highly recommend Shaun and his team. My wife and I recently sold our home through his real estate company and the process was great and in case you’re wondering he really does charge a 1% commission plus a small agency fee as his company name implies. I do recall wondering if his lower fee would be as a result of being “hands off” or perhaps pushing to sell at a lower price so that he can sell your house quicker. This wasn’t the case at all. I’ve sold three homes in my life now, the first two with a top notch realtor in Pittsburgh and I found Shaun to be just as involved in the process as our realtor in Pittsburgh. I could text him any time. He gave good advice and respected our intended listing price. We consulted thoughtfully when we got an offer (which led to other offers when folks were put on notice). He respected our target walkaway price negotiated well on our behalf. His automated texting program is awesome. I always knew when we were getting a showing. His photographer did a great job showcasing the home. Why pay 3% when you can pay 1%? You’ll be happy you chose him if you do.

Selling a home is never easy—there are so many steps where things can go wrong. I had a reliable realtor I’d used before, but my wife found Purple Door List. I was super skeptical based on what other realtors had said.After our initial conversation, Shaun handled everything a traditional realtor would do (minus the higher commission). He didn’t do open houses, but honestly, hardly anyone buys a house from one anymore. Buyers browse online and then work with their agent or reach out directly to Shaun.The second myth I heard was that Shaun would push buyer questions back onto me. Not true at all—he managed all communication between us and the buyers’ agent. He also has a ton of knowledge and even connected us with a couple of reasonable contractors to fix minor issues that came up during inspection.Overall, the experience was excellent. I would highly recommend Shaun to anyone buying or selling a house. My daughter is already planning to list her house with him next year.

I was apprehensive about going with a new realtor, but was hooked by the 1% sellers agent rate. I am Beyond thrilled with my decision to use purple door.Shaun is absolutely wonderful!
