Today is April 14th 2026. I called them at 9:30 am to make an appointment and they called back at 10:50am.Called them for our daughter’s cap getting loose after a year that was done by them and mentioned about our sons who need tooth removal and forwarded their x-rays that was done last week at pediatric dental Okc. The receptionist wasn’t listening well to anything I was conveying because she kept interrupting me without listening to what I’m saying, after repeated interruptions I tried my best to tell her about the situation of our sons and wanted to know what kind of numbing medication would they use. My simple question was asking her if the doc would be sedating them for tooth removal or be using local anesthesia and laughing gas? It was that simple, but she complicates things never respond to the simple questions asked and not willing to hear our concern at all, kept interrupting over and over. She kept explaining to me that i have to pay out of my pocket if I want the kids to be seen by them, which makes no sense because the insurance covers it and she also said that they’re going to require doing x-rays again on our kids which makes no sense because I Just forwarded the x-rays done from last week and they want to charge us for the x-rays agian if we came and for the consultation. I had already gone to see another dentist for 2nd opinion to see if they would do it without sedating and paid everything out of out pocket for consultation coz they don’t take liberty dental insurance and that dentist was able to work with the x-rays we forwarded to them and based on that images he gave us advice and they even requested the x-rays to be forwarded if I had taken few days ago so they can save us money and exposure to x-rays on kids. So for Mcloud dental to insist that we take another x-rays within a week at their clinic is out of line and totally unnecessary. It gives the impression that all they’re trying to do is make money and without making any sense or wellbeing of their patients. When she called back with all this info, I canceled myAppointment when she called back at 10:50am today. I had just called in at 9:30 this morning to see them, but with all this info and poor listening skill receptionists, I would take my money and care of our family somewhere else, with that level of poor listening skill and attitude.
