I cannot say enough good things about Polygon PT in Pearland and my physical therapist, Akshar Patel.I started physical therapy with Akshar in February 2026 after surgery for a rotator cuff repair and a detached bicep tendon. Like many people facing a major surgery and recovery, I was nervous about what my outcome would be and whether I would regain my strength and mobility. From day one, Akshar developed a clear treatment plan and strategy to get me back on track. What stands out most is that he truly listens. If I come into therapy in pain, I leave feeling significantly better. He takes the time to explain every stage of the recovery process, where I should be, what we are working toward, and what adjustments need to be made if I experience a setback. And trust me, there were times when I didn't do everything I was supposed to do between appointments! Instead of making me feel discouraged, his response was always, "That's okay, we'll get you there."Akshar is extremely patient-oriented, thorough, and compassionate. He has a kind and gentle spirit, but he also knows when to push me appropriately to help me reach my goals. Whenever therapy becomes challenging, he walks me through it, explains why we're doing it, and makes sure I'm comfortable and confident throughout the process. One of the things I've enjoyed most is how engaging and positive the environment is. Therapy has actually been fun. We even incorporate strength training at the gym next door as part of my recovery, which has been a tremendous benefit. My orthopedic surgeon has been very impressed with my progress and told me I am doing better than expected considering the extent of my surgery and the fact that I now have an implant—so I jokingly tell people I'm a little bionic now. But the truth is that much of my success is due to the care, expertise, and encouragement I've received from Akshar and the entire staff at Polygon PT.If you're looking for a physical therapist who listens, explains the process, genuinely cares about his patients, and knows how to get results, I HIGHLY RECOMMENT Akshar Patel and Polygon PT. I am incredibly grateful for everything they have done to help me in my recovery and regain my strength. Now, let me address the review from EL JEFE. As someone who has been a patient here for months, I can honestly say that what was written does not reflect the care I have witnessed or personally received. The claims that Akshar and the staff don't listen, rush patients, fail to communicate, or are simply trying to push people back to work are completely inconsistent with my experience. In my opinion, that review is simply NOT TRUTHFUL. I have watched Akshar spend extra time with patients and encourage people when recovery gets frustrating. No physical therapist can perform miracles, but they can provide excellent care, and that is exactly what is received. My results speak for themselves.
